"There is no need to pursue, achievement is a void after all, it will not make any difference at all, so be happy now!" Love is the only truth in the world, you know, because love is the 'only'. The only laws are sophistry, humor, and change, and there is no problem that is not a problem, that problems never exist and will never exist in the future. Leave your struggles behind, let go of your mind, let go of your worries, and relax into the world.
There is no need to resist life, just do your best. Open your eyes and see yourself far beyond your imagination. You are the world, you are the universe, you are yourself and all of you. Everything is a wonderful performance of God, wake up, regain your humor, don't worry, you're free! "
- "Peace Warrior"
A lot of people say That Peace Warrior is an inspirational movie, but I don't think so. It brings me more philosophical thinking and enlightenment, and more about how to control my thoughts and hearts and return to the present.
This movie is definitely worth watching.

It seems extraordinary, but it is actually fragile
The mentor 'Socrates' asked Dan: Have you ever wondered what would happen if you couldn't participate in the Olympic Games?
Hearing this question, Dan's face immediately changed color, his expression twisted together, angry and trembling, and said: What do you say? Can't play in the Olympic Games? How dare you ask such a question?!
For Dan, an Olympic gold medal is the whole sustenance of his life. He simply did not allow other possibilities to exist. This caused his whole being to live in great fear and control.
This is happening in each of us. Some people are entrepreneurs, some people are promoted to a certain position, and some people are cultivating children to become talents. There is always a goal that makes us deeply attached to it, and it is considered to be the representative of happiness.
Such narrow cognition deeply binds and binds people to a pitiful small space, and is always controlled by the emotions of anger and fear.
How could the universe allow its own "children" to be imprisoned in the bubble of illusions. Therefore, life will inevitably bring about corresponding events to awaken and liberate the "sleeping" person.
The more a person resists change, the more the way to liberate him becomes unstoppable.
In the end, Dan suffers a car accident, he fails to participate in the Olympics, but it is this experience that allows him to break all the closed boundaries one by one and begin to shed that narrow and small self.

The mind, in fact, knows nothing
One day, Dan Yi said to his mentor "Socrates": All my grades are A's, and I know far more than you think... Test me and ask me any questions:
Socrates said: Ok, what is happiness?
Dan was stunned, and the question made him resist. What's the problem?
What is happiness? Dan never thought about it.
Can life bring you happiness right now? Dan never thought about it. And the answer is that he is not happy at all, he is always worried about his position being replaced, he always wakes up in nightmares.
But his mind still clings to the concept that has been indoctrinated from childhood to adulthood: happy to get the first, happy to get the gold medal, but never questioned.
Like Dan, there are countless people who live like zombies. I thought I was awake, but I never woke up.
03
Don't just live in the world of your mind
One day, Socrates pushed Dan off the bridge without warning. Dan fell straight into the river. He shouted angrily in the water: Are you crazy? Why are you doing this to me?
Socrates said I did you a favor, and in the two seconds of the fall, what did you think?
"I didn't think anything of it! You lunatic! Dan shouted.
Socrates said: Your mind is full of garbage, you have never been quiet, you have never paid attention to what is happening in the world around you.
Dan said: Nothing is happening around at all!
Socrates suddenly squeezed his arm and sent his consciousness into the present world.
Dan instantly heard and saw what was happening around him. The dog's hair blows in the wind, the passionate people's lips touched together to kiss, the sound of leaves, the sound of readers turning books under the tree...
He was never aware of this.
However, he was frightened by this, and the mind was so small and pitiful. People are afraid of being manipulated by others, but they do not know that they are being manipulated by the mind, and thus cannot experience the reality that the soul is supposed to experience.
Only those who are willing to jump out can realize this.

The most powerful potential can only be awakened "in the moment"
Human beings have five senses, which were supposed to serve the soul, but now they are deeply enslaved. People are pursuing the aroma of eating, living well, dressing beautifully, having wonderful sex, and then running and toiling all day long for it.
Dan devoured when he ate, not experiencing what he was eating at all. His mouth was eating, his head was thinking of something else. His mind experienced either anxiety or excitement. The body, mind, and mind are all separated from each other because they are unable to reach their most powerful potential.
Dan trained with all his strength in order to keep the first, but he was never able to break through the bottleneck of his body.
But when he used the method of Socrates, he abstained from wine, sex, and meat. Fully into the moment, he showed a staggering level in the kurama event that he had never trained.
Everyone was shocked, including himself.
When the body, mind, mind, and mind all work in harmony with each other in the single present moment, when the past and the future no longer affect us and consume our energy, the knowledge of the soul level is awakened.
Many people in life have experienced such moments, which are the knowledge and power of God's coming.
The question is not what you do, but whether you remain aware of actions and outcomes
Socrates told Dan to quit drinking, meat, and sex to train concentration, but one day he took Dan to the bar, drinking wine and smoking a cigar.
Dan smiled doubtfully and said, "Is this an illusion?" Didn't we say we wouldn't do that?
Socrates said: The habit of not being aware is the problem. It is important that you remain aware of your own choices and learn to take responsibility for the results of your actions.
In life, people often repeat certain habits unconsciously, unaware that habits shape thoughts, thoughts lead to behavior, and actions lead to results, all of which will shape a person's life.
Dan in the movie is unaware of drinking, sex, and throwing food that is not good for the body into his stomach without knowing anything about it. These behaviors are repeated into habits, and habits will eventually shape his life and destiny. Under the influence of those foods and behaviors, Dan has unconsciously become a frivolous, arrogant, superficial, escaping pain, chasing pleasure young people.
That's why Socrates asked Dan to scrub the toilet.
Dan yelled at this anger: How does this help train me to focus?
Socrates said: Brushing the toilet trains you: integrating awareness into the movements of the body will also wash away your arrogance.

The most important thing is not the end, but the journey
Socrates, who had climbed the mountain for three hours with Dan, said to take Dan to a wonderful place.
Dan was looking forward to this and was happy and enjoyed along the way.
But when Socrates announces that they have reached their destination, Dan is annoyed, and he says what is special here? What the hell are we here to see?
Socrates said: Aren't you happy along the way?
Dan said: I was happy all the way because there was something wonderful to see, and now you tell me, is the result of this broken stone?
Socrates walked to the other side and said, so you have reason not to be happy anymore? Haven't you all been happy just now?
Dan looked at the stone in his hand and suddenly realized that what mattered was not the destination at all, but the journey itself.
Dan's leg was broken after a car accident and he was broken and collapsed, and under socrates training, he revived his faith and resumed training.
He came to the gymnastics training ground with the desire to re-kill the Olympic gold medal again, but was told that he had been disqualified.
He was once again filled with anger and despair.
Socrates said to him: Everyone has a dilemma like yours, and when you don't get what you want, you suffer. And when you get what you want, you'll still suffer. Because you can't have it all the time.
Dan said: "The coach doesn't approve of me, he doesn't think I'm going to give it my all.
Socrates said: It doesn't matter. You don't need a letter from him or the Olympic Committee to make you give up gymnastics or a loved one... You don't need to live in such pain.
Finally Dan realizes that when his mind is filled with noise, filled with the expectations of others, filled with the expectations of the gold medal, his happiness is never on his own hands. As a result, he suffers, is unable to live in the moment, and therefore fails to awaken the best potential.
In the end, Dan participated in the domestic selection competition and completed the difficult and exquisite movements on the hoop.
In a streamlined motion, a voice asked him:
Where are you Dan?
(Where are you Dan?) )
Here
(Dan: Here)
What time is it?
( What time is it?) )
Now
(Dan: Present)
What are you?
(What are you?) )
This moment
(Dan: At the moment)
It is worth noting that throughout the film, Dan's emotions fluctuate violently up and down, his fear, anger, anxiety, doubt, despair... All have been stimulated... One by one, they are tamed by wisdom...
This is how our hearts grow. Eventually, inner peace breaks out of the cocoon.
"Hold high your sword of wisdom, and when the past and the future occupy your mind, chop them to pieces. Please live at this time. now. Great place to stay"
