The Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger is getting closer and closer. In the streets and alleys, lanterns are hung high, ribbons are flying, people are crowded, and everywhere is a red-hot New Year's greeting scene.
In the past two days, the walls of Suzhou Gate have also been pasted with festive couplets. The upper link reads "Qingtang Seven Mile Biyu Nine Heavens and Earth Carry Dreams with Spring Boats", and the lower link reads "Pagoda Lingyun Ancient Hills Floating Green Mountains and Rivers Just Tiger Facing the Wind". The words express a blessing for the upcoming Year of the Tiger.
From 2018 to the present, Suzhou's "City Gate Hanging Spring Festival" activity has been for five consecutive years, and every year there are 10-meter-long huge Spring Festival Links hanging on the city wall. The 2022 Spring Festival of the Year of Nongyin lasted about a month to collect from the whole network, and finally selected the winner's couplet works, which were hung out in Suzhou Qimen, Loumen, Pingmen and other nine gates.
Calligraphers in Jiangyin, Wuxi, have also hung on buildings such as Chaozongmen, Zhongshan Park, and Tianhua Cultural Center. At the scene of the day's activities, calligraphy volunteers splashed ink and sent beautiful New Year greetings to the general public.
Recently, Mr. Liu, a calligraphy enthusiast in Xuzhou, created a long scroll of "Hundred Tigers" to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Tiger. The whole work is 57 meters long and 0.7 meters high, and 100 "tiger" characters with various styles of real, grass, li, seal and line are written in a variety of scripts.
Liu Songshan, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and a calligraphy teacher at Yunlong University for the Aged, said: "It means that people will add wings to the tiger in 2022. Defeat the epidemic, feel at ease and live a happy life. ”
The annual annual custom market in Yangjiamen Community, Jinshan Street, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang, opens lively. Community aunts get together to make dumplings, guess red packets, and play tiger lantern games that make people shine. Children lined up around the food stalls for their favorite snacks such as marshmallows and painted sugar paintings. Deep in the alley, a strong smell of the New Year comes to the face.
