On January 20, 2022, the "Mei Lan Fang hua - Mei Lan Fang Art Life Exhibition" co-sponsored by the National Museum of China, Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall and the Taizhou Municipal People's Government was exhibited at the National Expo and opened to the public. The exhibition exhibits nearly 400 physical objects (sets), all of which are precious cultural relics and documents related to Mei Lanfang's artistic life, in addition to nearly 600 related pictures.
The exhibition is divided into eight units: "Qunying Spectrum Jingyun", "Mei Xiu Out of the Family", "Mei Zhan Hundred Flowers Kui", "Mei Xin Yuxuan", "Mei Xiang Chuan Wanli", "Plum Bone Proud Of the Wind and Snow", "Mei Bao All Things Spring", "Mei Yun Exhibition New Voice", based on cultural relics and documents, panorama shows Mei Lanfang's artistic creation in different historical periods, allowing the audience to feel Mei Lanfang's personal charm and moral demeanor at close range, and savor the spiritual strength contained in Mei Pai Peking Opera art works.
Mei Lanfang, whose ancestral home is Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, was born in Beijing in 1894. Born into a famous family, he is a world-famous Peking Opera performance artist in the 20th century. The Mei Lanfang art school he founded reversed the situation of "life-oriented" on the previous Peking Opera stage and created a new era of "equal emphasis on life and dan". As a pioneer in the overseas dissemination of Peking Opera art, Mei Lanfang has visited and exchanged abroad many times, highlighting the unique value of Chinese opera art in the treasure house of world art, and making positive contributions to the exchange and mutual learning of Chinese and foreign civilizations.
The preciousness of Mei Lanfang's art lies not only in her unique natural conditions and painstaking efforts, but also in her progressive ideas, political embrace and national integrity.
Mei Lanfang's song "Guifei Drunk" adds a strong stroke to Yang Guifei's beautiful and delicate image, and has also become one of the classic plays of Mei Pai. During the exhibition, Guobo also specially launched the "Noble Concubine Drunk" theme coffee, allowing the audience to "immerse" the exhibition from visual to taste.
At the same time, in order to allow friends from all over the country to share this art feast, this exhibition will also launch a "cloud exhibition" on the organizer's public account and Taizhou New Media.
