In the activity, volunteers wore blue vests to go deep into the five resettlement sites of Xingmin, Eling, Nanhu, Longjin and Putong, and walked into the homes of empty nesters, left-behind, disabled and elderly people to provide cleaning, repairing home appliances, comforting and accompanying people, purchasing New Year goods and other services for the elderly; walking into the homes of minors in distress in the community, volunteers tutored children with winter vacation homework, conducted one-on-one exchanges with children, shared their own experiences, and encouraged them to study hard, and in the future, after becoming adults, they will serve the motherland and repay the society. In addition, with the strong support of the Yinjiang Rural Commercial Bank and the Yinjiang Long March Village and Town Bank, the volunteers also sent couplets, lanterns, rice, oil, noodles and other New Year goods to the empty nests, left-behind, disabled, elderly and families of minors in distress in the resettlement sites.
