In order to further strengthen the coordination and positive interaction between the judicial organs and the procuratorial organs, on the afternoon of January 19, the Duanzhou Court and the Duanzhou Procuratorate held the first joint meeting of the judicial procuratorate in Duanzhou District. Yu Weichuan, secretary of the party leading group and president of the Duanzhou court, and Li Li, secretary of the party leading group and chief procurator of the Duanzhou procuratorate, attended and spoke at the meeting. The joint meeting was presided over by President Yu Weichuan. Fang Wen, deputy secretary of the party group and vice president of the Duanzhou court, and Chen Han, member of the party group and deputy procurator general of the Duanzhou procuratorate, respectively reported on the main work in 2021.

The meeting deliberated and adopted the "Duanzhou District People's Court Duanzhou District People's Procuratorate on the Establishment of the Joint Conference Work Mechanism for Legal Inspection", which clearly states that in the future, the two courts of the Duanzhou District People's Procuratorate will strengthen coordination and liaison, promote the integration of ideas, form a joint work force, and jointly improve the quality and efficiency of judicial work through the establishment of a normalized joint meeting work mechanism. In principle, the joint meeting shall be held once every six months, and the president of the court and the chief procurator of the procuratorate shall be responsible for convening and presiding over the meeting in turn. The two sides will focus on criminal trials, civil trials, enforcement operations, public interest litigation, legal supervision and other matters to determine the theme, and jointly study and solve the problems encountered in the cooperation between the judicial and procuratorial courts. Comrades attending the meeting all believed that it is necessary to take the joint meeting of legal procuratorates as an opportunity to build a working mechanism that fulfills their responsibilities, cooperates effectively, and restricts effectively, and promotes the high-quality development of the work of the two procuratorates.

At the meeting, the participants also discussed and exchanged views on the legal supervision of meritorious service, the reform of the diversion of complicated and simple criminal cases, remote trials, and the management of uncarried defendants encountered in judicial practice, and reached a preliminary agreement.
