"Drug War" is the first film that Du Qifeng officially announced to enter the mainland market, and after its release in 13 years, it was very popular, achieved the best box office since the establishment of Galaxy Image, and then in 2018, it was remade by South Korea and won the box office championship for several weeks. This may also be one of the largest police films in Chinese mainland, and the police you can see at the beginning are almost none left in the end, which is definitely an outlier in the history of Chinese film. The film is very eye-catching at the beginning, Gu Tianle is full of white foam and slanted to drive, his hands are trembling and he can't control the steering wheel, he crashed into a restaurant, and the person fainted.
After being sent to the hospital, he was just bumped into by the anti-drug captain played by Sun Honglei, who smelled Gu Tianle's scars, and with experience concluded that this was a drug maker, he ordered his subordinates to stare at death. Through surveillance footage, he found Gu Tianle's drug factory.
After waking up, Gu Tianle originally took advantage of the guards to see the liveliness and wanted to run, but he was blocked by Sun Honglei, who had turned back, and carried him to the interrogation room. Knowing that his sin has reached death, he begins to reveal his true colors throughout the movie, which is actually a simple four-word word: greed for life and fear of death. Without hesitation, he was about to sell his upper and lower lines:
"I just want to wear the sin and make meritorious deeds, you believe me!"
Who are these two people? One is the big Hong Kong drug lord Uncle Biao, and the other is a haha brother who sells goods in Jinhai.
In order to break into the inside of the drug dealer network, get evidence of the crime. Red Thunder opened the fishing law enforcement mode, the front foot pretended to be Uncle Biao's nephew Ah Chang to see Haha, and the back foot pretended to be Ha Ha Brother to trick Ah Chang to cooperate.
This section is also the most interesting and dramatically tense segment in the whole film. Sun Honglei's expression was fierce when he pretended to be a drug dealer, like the appearance of Liu Huaqiang, the king of melons, and he didn't know if Du Qifeng also told him to accept the performance.
And when playing Ha Ha Brother, he was also very handsome Lei Lei's true color, opening his mouth to smile and not seeing his eyes, and this also formed a very sharp contrast with his later being forced to take drugs in order to gain trust, from his initial strong tolerance and restraint, to Ah Chang walking directly down, and finally to lying in the bathtub covered with ice shivering, Sun Honglei performed the true reflection of the first drug use, which was amazing.
The deal was finalized, but Gu Tianle's factory base had been fried, and in order to ensure the delivery of fishing for big fish, Ah Le betrayed his two apprentices, Guo Tao and Li Jing, who played the big deaf and little deaf, and they also had a drug-making den there.
Gu Tianle returned to the den to join the two apprentices, and also pretended to burn paper money for his wife who died in the previous factory explosion, it should be noted that here he burned a lot of hundred yuan of real money, and at the same time, the Jinhai police officers lent money to the local police officers to collect road fees, and they could only take out a few hundred yuan. After the police surrounded the factory, they originally thought that it would be easy to solve the battle, but they did not expect that the two deaf and dumb people were too capable of fighting, and they were fierce people who wore body armor on the toilet, and the two were as bullets as a pearl, and they were outnumbered, and they even fought with the police! Li Jing shot for cover, Guo Tao smashed open the ground, and the two entered the tunnel that had been prepared long ago, and even left a wave of broken bombs and flew away.
The failure of the operation made Sun Honglei very angry, and he thought that Gu Tianle was playing a ghost, and was ready to escort him back and end his opportunity to make meritorious deeds. Gu Tianle panicked again, he now had only the last hole card left, forced to flip under the threat of death.
It turned out that Uncle Biao was just a smoke bomb, and there were seven people behind the scenes, including his dry father, who could have remembered family affection, or could have made a comeback in order to escape in the future, and did not tell the truth completely. But now for the sake of his own life, he has left the room open.
Sun Honglei deliberately made it difficult for Uncle Biao to lure all seven people out and conduct on-site transactions. The cunning drug dealer chose the place of trading at the door of a primary school, and Gu Tianle knew that this was the last chance to escape, and he told the truth to seven people, causing a scuffle between the two sides and escaping in the chaos.
Coincidentally, in the process of driving away, he was in a car accident again, and it was the two apprentices who were also on the run who were deaf and deaf. At this time, he was once again exposed to the police's vision, Sun Honglei chained him to the car door, the strong desire to survive caused Gu Tianle to break his wrist, and killed all witnesses (including Sun Honglei and his own apprentice) on the way, and finally was caught by the special police who rushed to the scene.
What has to be mentioned here is that Li Jing's performance in this film is in great contrast with reality: in life, he is a thin cross-talk actor with a lotus tongue, while in the movie, he is deaf and dumb; in life, because of the discord of interests, he left his division, and in the movie, he was loyal but was hit by the master first and then killed. I don't believe that this is not Du Qifeng's bad taste.

He jumped off the bridge in a panic, broke his leg, and limped off again. He has brought his greed and fear of death to the extreme.
Du Dao designed another ending for the film released, Gu Zai was lying on the bed waiting to be executed by injection, and his mouth was still muttering all kinds of true and false drug dealer information, until he was put on a black cloth hood and was still struggling for the final struggle.....And this is also the first time that a mainland movie has described the injection death penalty in detail, which is very shocking.
