It inhabits forests, grasslands, bird's nests and animal dens.
Its life can be divided into four stages. The eggs hatch out of the larvae, the larvae are only six feet, the size is only the size of sesame seeds, not easy to find, after growing into a nymph, there will be eight feet, sucking enough blood will fall to the ground and peel off the skin, becoming an adult worm.
