Kunming: Rectify the "bombing street" and "illegal modification" and seize 186 vehicles

The reporter learned from the Information Office of the Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau that in response to the recent feedback and clues received by citizens on the "illegal modification" of motor vehicles and electric bicycles, "bombing the street to disturb the people", "racing and racing", the Kunming Municipal Public Security, Market Supervision, Taxation and other departments jointly launched the "Hunting Sound Action" on the 19th to collect the network, and a total of 186 suspected vehicles were seized.

Kunming Municipal Public Security, Market Supervision, Taxation and other departments dispatched a total of 407 personnel to focus on the three key points of "people, cars and shops" in response to the reports of the masses and the clues in the early stage, and to investigate and deal with relevant illegal acts in a centralized manner. A total of 186 vehicles suspected of being modified were seized in this operation, 59 suspects were summoned for investigation, 18 key shops and stores were inspected, and a number of relevant evidence such as mobile phones, computers, and account books involved in the case were withheld.

Kunming police remind that illegal acts such as "illegal modification" of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles, "forbidden travel", "noise disturbance", "drag racing and bombing of streets" not only have a great impact on the lives and rest of the surrounding masses, but also directly endanger public safety and social order.
