The owner's family has changed from the original husband and wife of two to a family of four that the elderly live in. With the change of the residential population, the original single small space living attribute can no longer meet the new demand. Therefore, they replaced this 220㎡ four-bedroom apartment, hoping that the overall atmosphere and simple color matching have local highlights, and the living area can be more spacious and convenient for family interaction.
In this case, the layout design is based on the overall simplicity, spaciousness and comfort. The designer creates a natural and comfortable simple style for the owner's family, black and white gray + wood color collocation, to complete the presentation of style color. And the use of matte stone and log materials to bring natural and fresh elements to the interior.

The master bedroom area with wood veneer as the main background with the floor tile treatment that is not often done on the ground, the invisible door treatment of the internal cloakroom leads to the bathroom after entering, such a moving line treatment meets the needs of the male and female masters to change clothes and wash conveniently.
5. The study room quotes Morandi blue as the main color, and sets up a row of glass display cabinets to meet the display area run by the host.
6. In the parents' room section, an internal cloakroom has also been added to facilitate the elderly's change of clothes storage.
7. The overall ceiling took into account the design method of the partial full ceiling without main lights taking into account the satisfaction of the floor height, and finally completed the landing of the case after the owner tried his best to cooperate with the design.

The entrance hallway uses a sunken area to transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Originally, the lighting of the entrance cabinet was poor, and the entrance cabinet was partially hollowed out and suspended asymmetrically designed to create a sense of transparency, rather than the oppressive feeling of the cabinet. Use a combination of chandeliers and line lights to illuminate the entrance to the room.
At the end of the aisle entrance, the material and the TV background wall are integrated. The connection of the three faces is made in the way of light, which becomes a whole visually, and the space is not visually separated.
Living room
The sofa background wall fully plans the storage space of the living room, and under the premise of sufficient storage, the beauty of the TV background wall is greater than the practicality. The shape decoration of large rock slabs and the gray matte bricks on the ground are matched, and the texture of the natural grain of stone is used to bring a calm and elegant temperament.
The addition of decorative cabinets makes the TV background wall have a certain functionality. Wood salad groove board + metal laminate, through the combination of vertical and horizontal lines, with stone, wood, metal materials, so that the entire display area is more layered.
The sofa background wall has both decoration and storage functions, and the combination of wooden grille + glass door + locker door + invisible door and other door panels completes the flat and unified wall surface. The leather angled sofa in the living room has a more sense of encirclement, adding a social attribute to the living room.
The ceiling integrated form connects the two spaces of the guest house, and the arc transition at the corners is processed. The use of hidden side downlights makes the top surface very flat, and the wall floor with clean lines is more concise and atmospheric.

The table and island platform are integrated design, and the horizontal layout of the island platform fully releases the corridor distance of the restaurant. The island platform is also used as a Western kitchen operation countertop, with the integrated electrical appliances of the storage cabinet, improving the overall function of the Western kitchen. The display cabinet selects glass swing door to increase the design process of the light strip, which is mainly used to collect small items such as wine glasses and bowls to light up the temperature in the home.

The dining sideboard area uses an electronic atomization fireplace, which is extended with the TV wall and floor, and the combination of warm light and stone creates a warm home atmosphere indoors.
kitchen
The L corner of the Chinese and Western kitchen countertops is extended, and the kitchen wall is colored with small bricks. Metal laminates are used to store objects to make up the storage space on the wall. White cabinet overall customization, integrated steam oven appliances, choose Japanese brand Takara, enamel material without handle door panel clean and easy to take care of.
bedchamber
In order to make the foot feel more comfortable, the master bedroom is heated, and the floor tiles are selected instead of wooden floors to increase the thermal conductivity. The bedside background wall is composed of grooved board + wood veneer splicing, and the two side nightstands are made of integrated suspended cabinets with corresponding materials. The position of the socket is placed on the countertop of the bedside table, and this form is used to ensure the integrity of the wall.
cloakroom
The wardrobes on the left and right sides of the master bedroom cloakroom are designed and laid out, the man's wardrobe uses Morandi blue, and the hostess's white wardrobe is matched with glass door panels, which distinguishes the two from the color.

The master bedroom cloakroom is connected to the bathroom, the two areas are separated by a top-of-the-top gray glass sliding door, and the thin-frame sliding door is matched with a narrow frame door cover, which fully reflects the advantages of the floor height with simple lines and releases the sense of transparency in the small space. After the new wall of the bathroom is wrapped and hidden, the wall space is used to customize the metal embedded niches in the toilet area and the shower room, and the sanitary ware is embedded in the wall, and the visualization space is as high as possible to be minimalist.
The dry area of the bathroom is equipped with circular touch mirror lights, the countertop is imported from the United States DuPont Corian, the wall-type faucet hides the ground pipe, and the design of the hanging cabinet is very convenient for daily cleaning and maintenance.

What were the biggest challenges encountered throughout the renovation design?
The biggest challenge is that the owner himself is very professional in photography and is sensitive to color, so the challenge is relatively large in the echo of local colors.

What did you do in the design process to meet the individual needs of your customers?
