The well-known painter Liu Yiru graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hubei University and was accepted as a disciple after getting acquainted with Tang Wenxuan in 1993. At that time, the husband left Hugh at home and devoted himself to learning. Mr. Liu Lives in simplicity on weekdays and takes pleasure in teaching by apprentices, so Liu Yiru often goes to Mr. Tang Wenxuan's home to listen to Mr. Tang's teachings and watch Mr. Tang's paintings.
