The time loop is not a new topic, and films such as the movie "Source Code" and "Groundhog Day" have already made similar attempts. So does the time loop really exist? Is there a theoretical support behind it? If a person is caught in a time loop, can they escape from it?

If conditions permit, you can go back to the past or travel to the future. As for why, let's talk about them one by one.

Time loop, or time travel, is a very common topic that refers to the movement of people or objects from one point in time to another, similar to the movement in space. Everything moves naturally along time minute by minute, so time travel here refers only to ways that violate this natural change of time: to the future, or to the past. In 1895 H. The advent of G. Wells's novel The Time Machine popularized the concept of time travel. The book tells the story of a scientist who travels to a future world in 802701 AD on a time machine of his own development.

Human beings can travel through time and space through literature in their imagination, and mortal flesh can also travel through reality, at least theoretically.
To the future:
Within the framework of Einstein's special and general relativity, time travel to the future is considered plausible. The faster an object moves, the slower time passes; when the speed of an object reaches the speed of light, time stops; when the speed of an object exceeds the speed of light, time flows backwards.
This somewhat mysterious-sounding theory has a basis in experimental phenomena. In 1975, Carol Allie of the University of Maryland synchronized two atomic clocks, placing one on an airplane for several hours and the other on Earth. When the onboard clock returned to Earth, she compared its time with the clock that had not moved, and found that the clock time on the plane moved a few tenths of a second slower. In other experiments, scientists use particle accelerators to accelerate elementary particles to near the speed of light. They found that accelerated particles decayed more slowly than particles left in the lab.[2]
This effect can also be observed in GPS satellites 20,200 kilometers from the Earth's surface. These satellites have highly accurate on-board clocks that can increase by an average of 38 microseconds per day due to time expansion. While this time gain is negligible, GPS satellites rely on their on-board clocks to maintain precise global positioning. An increase in time of 38 microseconds results in a positioning error of nearly 10 km .[3]

According to Einstein's theory, time travel towards the future has been thoroughly understood and has certain observational phenomena. As for traveling back in time, it is not impossible to find a general relativistic solution that allows it to occur, but the conditions that qualify for that solution may not be physically achievable.
Jaymie Matthews, a professor of astrophysics at Columbia University, argues that "interstellar travel at near the speed of light may exist, but this voyage is a one-way ticket that can only enter the future and cannot go back to the past." ”
If we can't travel back in time, does that mean the past can never be accessed? The answer may not be. According to Einstein's theory, traveling to the past can be achieved by the Einstein-Rosen Bridge( a type of wormhole). A wormhole is a theoretical region of space-time that connects two distant points in space in a distorted way. Einstein's theory suggests that if it is stable enough, the space wormhole could potentially connect two points in time.
However, Professor Jaymie Matthews argues that "at the moment, even the Einstein-Rosen bridge cannot be used to go back in time because it is not long enough – it is uncertain". "Even if it is stable, its existence requires the existence of other physical conditions." Currently, we don't have such quantities, because hypothetical particles and states of matter with exotic physical properties would violate known laws of physics, such as particles with negative mass. That's why wormholes are just a science fiction existence. ”
Brain hole time

Let's think about it, what kind of existing scientific means can bring you infinitely closer to the past? Hypnosis counts as one. However, hypnosis can only make you recall the past, not change the past, as if the brain lets you touch the edge of the past, but because of the limitations of certain permissions, you can't do anything.

The brain is the most complex computer system, a collection of hardware + software, and the physical law of the world we live in is the program installation package. However, the software of the brain is a barrier, it has administrator privileges, it is like not allowing the system to install software at will, it does not allow humans to cross the barrier to know the world and truth in a higher dimension. The hardware has the ability to install any program, but the administrator privileges of the software do not allow the system to do so, just like hypnosis, which allows you to go back in time but restricts your other actions.
With the evolution of human beings, people can feel the existence of this barrier in the brain more and more, more and more realize that the physical world does not operate as the naked eye can see, and more and more capable of breaking free of administrator authority by subverting the existing theoretical system. Einstein's theory broke away from some of the administrator's authorities, allowing us to install the "theory of relativity" program, which made us recognize the correctness of "going to the future".
