Like the unknown people in the movie, before the release of the movie "The Unknown Generation", no one knew about Duyun City in Qiannan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. But after the movie caught fire, it also brought fire to this small city in Guizhou.
Duyun, the original name is "Duyun", because there is a "Duyun Cave" about a kilometer east of the city. Later, during the Ming Dynasty, the Pingqiang general He Fujian suppressed the uprising of the Duyun Miao people and reported it to the imperial court, believing that "the cloud is a thing, unpredictable", and that "cloud" should be changed to "even", taking the meaning of "uniform", the emperor approved the edict, and from then on, Duyun was changed to Duyun, which has been used to this day.
The word "Duyun" means "city of clouds" in the Language of the Buyi people, and the name is very beautiful, and the small city is also very beautiful. Winters are warm and summers cool. Under the influence of mountains and rivers, it is built in a strip-like manner, and the Jian River runs through the city from north to south. Above the river, there are more than 100 bridges with different styles and shapes: inclined bridge, silver lion bridge, rainbow bridge, moon bridge, etc., so it is called "Plateau Bridge City". One of the West Mountain Bridges is the key filming location of the climax of the film.
Duyun Xishan Bridge was built in 1966 and is the most convenient bridge between Xishan Park and the city center on both sides of the Jianjiang River. The original bridge was 113.9 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, and became a disease-risk bridge due to the heavy load. In May 2015, the government launched the widening and reinforcement project of the bridge, transforming it into a "wind and rain bridge", after completion, the total two-storey, partial three-story, the total length of the bridge is about 97.5 meters, the width of the bridge is 31.5 meters, and the bridge deck has increased from the original two-way two-lane to two-way 4-lane.
After the transformation, the Xishan Bridge combines the cultural characteristics of the ethnic minorities in southern Qiannan, the appearance is simple and elegant, the exterior brush imitates wood paint, the columns, railings and other decorations are yellow and red, the tile gray small green tiles, the roof ridge white waterproof paint, the color is simple and beautiful. Wide bridge decks, neat buildings, red lanterns, and strange stalls are interwoven with bright and transparent lights, outlining the night scene.
In addition to the newly promoted Internet celebrity Xishan Bridge, Duyun also hides an old street with a century-old history - Stone Slab Street.
Stone Slab Street was built in the Ming Hongwu period, a total length of 312 meters, the road surface is paved with 11,000 pieces of bluestone, in the Ming and Qing Dynasties is a necessary ancient road from Guizhou to Guangxi, and the houses on both sides of the street still retain the classical style of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Stone slabs, green tiles, red walls, carved doors and windows, lanterns hanging high, the streets are dazzling, and the end of the road seems to have seen a hundred years of vicissitudes.
