Recently, the United States and Japan have successively challenged the mainland on the issue of the South China Sea. First, at the "2+2" meeting of the US and Japanese foreign ministers and defense ministers, the two sides talked about the South China Sea issue, and then accused China of "excessive demands" for the sea. At the same time, the United States and Japan also shouted in the joint statement that our side respects the so-called "ruling result of the South China Sea arbitration case", that is, asking China to recognize the illegal claims of the Philippine side.
Obviously, the arch fire between the United States and Japan in the South China Sea will not shake the slightest bit of China's sovereign rights and interests, but it has successfully stirred the restless heart of the Philippines. The Philippines can say that it can not sit still, first on January 14, the Philippines announced in a high-profile manner that it will spend $375 million to purchase a land-based version of the "BrahMos" supersonic anti-ship missile from India. In the face of the "surprise attack" of the United States, the People's Liberation Army also resolutely took action to demarcate the no-navigation zone from January 14 to 15 for sea sealing exercises. That is to say, once an extraterritorial ship breaks into the no-navigation zone designated by China without authorization, the PLA can regard it as a military operation and has the right to launch a fire attack on it.
