This one has changed its director, which should be regarded as a prequel to the first two films, telling the story of the family videotape recording the growth of the sisters and seeing what happened to them when they were young.
Back in 1988, my mother moved to a new house with my sisters and stepfather, a photographer who wanted to record bedtime exercise with his wife one night, but unexpectedly found something unusual in the picture. However, the plot is a bit buggy in the connection with the first two parts, since the sister has been friends with demons since childhood, it is not reflected in the second part, only the first sister once said that she encountered supernatural events when she was a child. Smart: Ghost In The Shadows 4 – 2012
This is also the director of the third part, mainly following the story of the second part, telling the story of the sister and her young son disappeared five years later.
The sister moves into a new home with a boy named Robbie, and then uses the excuse to let Robbie live in the neighbor's house, because the neighbor's younger son is actually the sister's son Hunter, and Robbie takes the demon "Toby" to make the neighbor's family uneasy, and finally succeeds in taking Hunter away.
The protagonist of this film is the eldest daughter of the neighbor's family, and the director has arranged for the stubborn parents this time, no matter how the eldest daughter proves that Robbie is related to the frequent strange things in the family, the parents do not pay attention to it, and finally realize that it is too late when everything is too late, they are killed, and finally the eldest daughter encounters a group of unknown creatures when looking for her brother, and the fourth part is over.
Ghost Shadow 5 - Ghost Dimension - 2015

It tells the story of a couple who move to a big house with their daughter at a low price, and then the daughter begins to become wrong, and it is because of the good friends with "Toby". The overall plot of this film is compact and does not drag, and also explains the suspense left in the previous films, making the "Ghost Shadow Record" series more complete. The difference is that the demons in this film have gradually taken shape, perhaps to pave the way for the final resurrection, but also lost the unique sense of horror that was initially "invisible and untouchable".
After watching the fifth part, I wondered what the image of the resurrected demon "Toby" in the sixth part would be. But the sixth part only came out of the trailer, there has been no exact release time, looking for half a day mostly shows this year's release, or let us continue to look forward to it!
"Ghost Shadow Record" series also has two extras, one is the "Ghost Shadow Record: Curse" released in 2014 and the other is the Japanese filmed "Ghost Shadow Record: Tokyo Night", the first I have not seen, first do not do evaluation, the other is still quite good, even if it is a Japanese version of the parallel sequel, the style, shooting methods, etc. are similar, the plot is relatively simple, but the feeling is also invisible kind of fear.
