Wang Jun reiterated that Huawei does not build cars, and in-depth cooperation will focus on existing partners

Beijing News Shell Financial News (reporter promise) On January 20, Wang Jun, COO of Huawei's intelligent car solution BU, reiterated at the 17th SuperCar Forum of "Intelligent Driving and Carbon New" that Huawei does not build cars. "Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to discuss these topics with this place today." Wang Jun said, "Our core is still to help enterprises build good cars."

The forum was jointly sponsored by Beijing News Shell Finance and Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and jointly supported by the Automotive Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone Work Office.

Wang Jun said that after two or three years of in-depth cooperation between Huawei and BAIC, the HI version of polar fox Alpha S jointly created by Huawei is sprinting to the market, which also marks the landing of a result of in-depth cooperation between the two sides. Previously, Huawei has reached in-depth cooperation with BAIC, Changan, and GAC. Wang Jun said that in the future, this kind of cooperation will not be too much, because this cooperation will consume Huawei's resources very much. At present, Huawei still hopes to focus on the car companies that have cooperated to support their car manufacturing.

Wang Jun believes that in the stage of integration of technology and the automotive industry, the trend of intelligence is gradually accelerating, and the application is becoming more and more common, especially in the fields of intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit and software-defined vehicles. Based on the ICT technology precipitated for more than 30 years, Huawei's entry into the vehicle parts industry is a huge opportunity for Huawei. In Huawei's view, the communication track is a track of more than 100 billion US dollars, the terminal mobile phone field is a track of hundreds of billions of US dollars, and the auto parts track is a multi-trillion US dollar market size.
