On the eve of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, in order to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the association and the society, on the afternoon of January 19, 2022, Zheng Liping, chairman of the Shenzhen Women Photographers Association, came to the Shenzhen Folk Photography Society to visit and exchange, and was warmly welcomed by Ma Rui, deputy secretary general of the society, and the staff.
The two sides introduced the photography activities of the association and the society in recent years, and discussed how to give full play to their own advantages to strengthen cooperation and exchanges next year.
At the exchange meeting, Zheng Liping, president of Shenzhen Women Photographers Association, presented a book "Shuitian Zhi" edited by her to Ouyang Xiangshan, president of Shenzhen Folk Photography Society, Liu Xiangxian, secretary general, Ma Qingfang, Su Shunqing, Luo Pu and other leaders. Ma Rui, deputy secretary general of the society, accepted the book donation as a representative and expressed his gratitude.
The book is nearly 300,000 words and has more than 600 pictures, including geographical, political, economic, social, cultural and other contents.
This is also a relatively new and unique local history from an editorial perspective, using a large number of pictures as an entry point to show the local humanistic development. From the wedding customs of the early 1970s to today's high-rise buildings, these photos embody Zheng Liping's sincere heart for photography and her deep affection for her hometown of Shuitian Village. The book has great collecting value.
