The golden leopard, scientific name Panthera pardus, is a typical forest animal, forest habitat beast, national level I protected animal, the Chinese Species Red List is assessed as critically endangered (CR); IUCN "Red List" assessment is endangered (EN), mostly inhabit the coniferous forest below 4400m above sea level, coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, occasionally more than 4400m in alpine shrub meadows or flowstone beaches.
Hehuahai National Forest Park is located in the Kuxirong Valley at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level in Pusharong Township, Kangding City, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, between Gongga Mountain and Wusuhai Scenic Area. Named because of the lotus flowers growing in the "sea", also known as Hehe Haizi, it is a high-mountain freshwater lake, surrounded by grasslands, forests, and snow-capped mountains, and is picturesque.
