The "Model of the Times" theme film New Year grassroots screening activity was opened on January 18 in the Film and Television Hall of the Dai Village Committee of Bian Zhuang Street, Lanling County, Linyi City.

The event was part of the screening activities sponsored by the China Propaganda Film Digital Program Management Center, hosted by the Shandong Provincial Film Bureau as the guiding unit and Shandong New Rural Digital Cinema Line Co., Ltd. Shandong Province will combine the screening activities with the "Culture into Ten Thousand Homes" activity, and will bring the story of the "model of the times" to the audience in the community squares, campuses, new era civilization practice centers, military camps, welfare institutions, party schools and other areas of relevant counties (cities and districts) before the end of March.

At the scene of the event, the audience watched the movie "Xiyingdai Village". Wang Chuanxi, secretary of the village party committee, united and led the party members and cadres of the whole village to develop the backward village with collective debt into a new socialist countryside with an annual per capita net income of 65,000 yuan, and Wang Chuanxi was also awarded the title of "Model of the Times" by the Central Propaganda Department. "Xiyingdai Village" shows the story of Wang Chuanxi leading the masses to gradually achieve rural revitalization. In addition to "Xiyingdai Village", the event also recommended films such as "Li Baoguo", "Wen Chaorong", "Tianqu", "Border Keeper" and so on.

At the forum, Wang Chuanxi shared the story of the development of Dai village into a new socialist countryside, affirming the significance of the screening activities and the role of public welfare film screening. The Shandong Provincial Film Bureau has put forward specific requirements for the implementation of activities and publicity services.
