Quanzhou: Forged accidents more than 80 cases of fraudulent insurance hundreds of thousands of police cracked the gang fraud case

Recently, the Quanzhou Fortress traffic police and the Quanzhou People's Insurance Property Insurance Company "police insurance" linked up and closely cooperated to crack the gang fraud case and arrested the fraudulent insurance gang headed by Lin Mou, a shareholder of a certain fortress of Fortress Auto Repair Plant.

Earlier, when Quanzhou Piccurance Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. shared police data with the Fengze traffic police, it found that there were abnormal claims in some small online investigation cases. Subsequently, the "anti-fraud insurance" team, which is composed of PICC Property Insurance and Fortress Traffic Police Accident Handling Squadron, immediately began to study and judge. After combing through, the "anti-fraud insurance" team found that there were several mobile phone numbers with a large number of insurance report records, which were very suspicious. After the police intervened in the investigation, they found that there was a specific relationship between some of the people who owned the mobile phone number.

"Some numbers, more than a dozen cases were reported in a month, which is obviously inconsistent with common sense." After further verification, Weng Gengfeng, a police officer of the Fortress Traffic Police Accident Handling Squadron, found that some of the numbers belonged to Lin Mou, a shareholder of an automobile maintenance plant in Fortress District, and his wife Xu Mou. Taking Lin and his wife Xu as the breakthrough point, the "anti-fraud" team conducted a new investigation of each online investigation case.

After several days of stripping away the cocoon, Weng Gengfeng preliminarily determined that the insurance fraud gang headed by Lin Mou took advantage of the convenience of opening an auto repair plant to use the customer's vehicle to create a minor traffic accident scene, and lied to the driver and the insurance address, so as to defraud the insurance claim, and the circumstances were very bad.

"On November 3, Lin fraudulently used the name of customer Tang Mou to report that his vehicle had a scratching accident in Putian City, and through a re-investigation of the insurance company's online investigation data, we found that the address in the video screenshot was actually located on Changsheng Road in Fengze District. On November 11, Lin reported in the name of customer Lin Mougui that his vehicle had an accident in Dehua, and we found that the actual location was located on Jinbao Road in Fengze District by comparing the details of the road in the photo, such as the trees and building characteristics of the roadside. Weng Gengfeng said that in order not to show the filling, the accident scenes created by Lin Mou were mostly remote places and extremely difficult to identify. However, these details did not escape the eyes of the police in the end.

With the full support of the existing evidence, the Fortress traffic police, together with the criminal investigation brigade of the Fortress Public Security Substation and the Houzhu Border Defense Police Station, quickly attacked and arrested the main suspects Lin X, Xu X, Zhang X, Tian X, Zheng X, Lin X Feng and others in the auto repair plant.

After investigation, the gang was involved in more than 80 insurance fraud cases, involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. At present, the case is under further investigation and handling.
