Wang Bangnian, 54, was a former lumberjack at the Xinghuo Forest Farm of Helong Forestry Co., Ltd., and he joined the work at the age of 19, from a pole worker to a lumberjack, and gradually became a well-known local generalist in main logging production, and his 19-year logging career was a 19-year logging career.

"At that time, every morning at 7 o'clock, I began to go up the mountain to cut wood, using a chain saw of more than 30 kilograms, a tree was cut next to a tree, and I was so tired that I couldn't even hold the chopsticks at the end of the day, and I logged more than 6,000 cubic meters with my co-workers all winter, and the number of trees felled was uncountable." On April 1, 2015, the forest area completely stopped commercial logging of natural forests and entered a new stage of development based on ecological protection and construction, and Wang Bangnian and his co-workers turned into "forest guards".

The sudden change of role made Wang Bangnian very stressed, but he never lowered the standard of work, and he made great efforts to this end. During the day, he went up the mountain to inspect and send numbers, accepted the quality of afforestation and forest care, returned at night to sort out the internal industry, studied the rules and regulations of the camp forest, and asked experienced old colleagues for advice when he encountered problems that he did not understand, and soon Wang Bangnian mastered the technical regulations of the camp forest. Through the investigation, I know all aspects of the situation of the Spark Forest Farm. In the specific work of afforestation, forest care, artificial promotion of natural forest renewal, etc., he insisted on following the shift, guiding production, and strictly controlling quality. Every year when he came to afforestation, he signed a letter of responsibility with the afforestation personnel, and convened the inspector and the team leader to meet together to explain the latest afforestation procedures and new requirements, emphasize the quality of operation, and ensure that one tree is built alive.

In order to ensure the quality of the forestry work, he got up early every day and went dark, shuttled between various work points, solved problems in time, and found errors to be corrected immediately. With the efforts of Wang Bangnian, the forest farm has successfully completed the task indicators issued by the forestry department for many years, the afforestation pass rate has reached more than 98%, and the forest care quality score has reached more than 98 points, which has been unanimously praised by leaders at all levels and acceptance departments.
