At present, the former Yichang Tiantian Chemical Factory Area has become a green space. The Yangtze River shoreline, where chemical factories used to be lined up, has been transformed into a beautiful ecological corridor.
On March 27, 2018, the Tiantian Chemical Plant was being demolished.
In the green recycling industrial park of Jingzhou Development Zone, the staff of Huida Technology commissioned equipment in the intelligent central control room of the new factory area.
Recently, the R&D personnel of Xiantao New Material Industrial Park and Hubei Green Home Material Technology Co., Ltd. are conducting new product tests. Green Home is the earliest enterprise in Xiantao to respond to the call for relocation, and through relocation and reconstruction, it has achieved leapfrog development and become a hidden champion in the field of segmentation.

In more than 3 years, 417 chemical enterprises have been "closed and relocated", all 118 chemical enterprises within one kilometer of the river have been "cleared", 149.8 kilometers of the shoreline has been vacated, and the ecological re-greening area of the shoreline of the Yangtze River is 8.56 million square meters.
Since 2018, our province has implemented the principle of "jointly grasping great protection and not engaging in large-scale development", implementing ten landmark battles for the protection of the Yangtze River, and focusing on solving the outstanding problems of "chemical encirclement of the river". In accordance with the "Task List of Chemical Enterprises Along the River in Hubei Province", the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology has set up rules and regulations, delineated the red line, and promoted the "customs reform and relocation" of chemical enterprises along the river with the determination of a hero to break his wrist and rule the river with an iron fist, and eradicated the hidden dangers of pollution in the Yangtze River and the Han River.
Recently, Hubei Daily all-media reporters visited Yichang, Jingzhou, Xiantao and other places to visit the new appearance of the chemical industry along the river after the "guan, reform and relocation".
Liujia Village, Aijia Town, Yichang City, Point Military Region, walked along a slope to a high ground on the edge of the Yangtze River, where a green space and blue sky reflected each other, and people seemed to stroll through Jiangtan Park here. If it weren't for the fact that there was a piece of marble in the corner that still had the words "Tiantian Chemical" imprinted on it, it would be difficult to believe that this place was once a chemical factory. Since 2016, in order to protect the Yangtze River and make ecological concessions, Yichang City has chosen to take the initiative to shut down chemical plants, kicking off the prelude to the "zeroing" of chemical enterprises within 1 kilometer along the river, and Hubei Sanning Chemical has shut down the Tiantian Chemical Plant with good production and operation.
After the reorganization of Hubei Sanning Company in November 2009, Tiantian Chemical Company achieved a total sales income of 1.743 billion yuan, and the average annual profit and tax reached 27.9 million yuan. Li Xianyun, general manager of Tiantian Chemical Company, calculated an account and shut down the enterprise, including equipment, plants, production suspension and other losses totaling about 350 million yuan. "Despite the huge losses, companies are more focused on the future." Li Xianyun said that for the original 498 employees, the company will be in line with the principle of "government rest assured, employee satisfaction, enterprise due diligence", to give proper placement.
After the demolition of the factory, the remaining industrial pollution site was repaired in 2018, and finally the nickel pollution and pH value of the land and other indicators met the corresponding national environmental protection standards, becoming a planned green space to be developed. Tiantian Chemical Factory also entered the Yaojiagang Industrial Park of Zhijiang Economic Development Zone for transformation and upgrading.
From Liujia Village down the river, less than 40 kilometers away from the Zhijiang Yaojiagang Chemical Park, Sanning Chemical invested 10 billion yuan in the relocation and transformation project - "synthetic ammonia raw material adjustment and annual output of 600,000 tons of ethylene glycol project" has been fully put into operation. Walking in the Yaojiagang Chemical Industry Park, the straight and wide road is lined with chemical installations, new tanks and pipes are shining, and the façade of the factory building is painted with white and sky blue paint, presenting a modern industrial beauty. Along the road, the covered bridge pipes stretch for several kilometers are flying in the air. This is the coal transmission board road of the new plant of Sanning Chemical. It is like a dragon absorbing water, which can transport 1500 tons of coal directly from the wharf to the factory area per hour, and the coal is fully enclosed by the pipe belt machine, and the transportation process is not spilled.
During the period of "customs reform and relocation", our province accelerated the promotion of relocation and transformation with the combination of technology, product and process updates, combined with intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing, and promoted the upgrading of enterprise safety and environmental protection standards and the development of clusters entering the park.
In jingzhou green circulation industrial park, the new workshops of the new factory area of Nengte Technology Co., Ltd. are neatly arranged, hidden in flowers and green trees, and the white factory walls and gray green pipes are particularly eye-catching under the blue sky and white clouds. It was lunchtime, and a group of workers dressed in clean and tidy uniforms walked toward the canteen with a smile and laughter. Walking in the factory area, several conspicuous large slogans came into view: "Green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", "Protecting the ecological environment is to protect the productive forces".
In 2018, Jingzhou City launched the closure and relocation of 76 chemical enterprises along the river, and Nengte Technology is one of them. Nengte Technology as a whole relocated to the green recycling industrial park, increased technological transformation, the annual output of 900 tons of advanced pharmaceutical intermediates, more than 3 times more than the old factory area, the number of products increased to 9, the annual sales exceeded 1.2 billion yuan.
Through "customs reform and relocation", chemical enterprises that have achieved transformation and upgrading abound. At present, the proportion of high-grade chemical products such as new chemical materials, high-end fine chemicals, biological pesticides, and new high-efficiency fertilizers in our province has exceeded 30%, and low-end high-energy-consuming products have been greatly reduced, realizing "moving new, moving high, moving green, moving strong".
With all the chemical enterprises within 1 km of the river completing the "customs reform and relocation", the remaining 61 chemical enterprises along the river will "settle the hard account" and complete the "customs reform and relocation" by the end of 2025. The Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology will adopt the measures of "point-to-point, solid and hard-hitting" to promote the leap from a large petrochemical province to a strong province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
