On the morning of January 17, Pingxiang County organized listening to and watching the national, provincial, and municipal video conference on production safety, Song Yun, member of the standing committee of the county party committee and executive deputy county governor, and Liu Jiangong, deputy county governor, attended the meeting, and the main responsible comrades of each township (street) and relevant units listened to and watched the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that in the recent succession of safety accidents throughout the country and the grim situation of safe production, all jurisdictions, departments, and units should earnestly enhance their political acumen and sense of political responsibility, adhere to the supremacy of the people and the supremacy of life, make overall plans for development and safety, ensure the safety of the people's lives and property, and achieve "two safeguards" with practical actions.

After the video conference, the county leaders made arrangements for the current safety production work in our county, and put forward three requirements: First, we must improve our ideological understanding, clearly understand the severe situation and challenges facing safe production at present, attach great importance to safe production work, and further enhance the sense of urgency of responsibility for implementation, good work, and guarding the safety defense line. All departments at all levels should firmly adhere to the bottom line of safety responsibility and make every effort to ensure the safety of major activities; second, we must adhere to the problem orientation, highlight the governance of key areas, and carry out in-depth three-year action plans for special rectification of safe production, highlight the investigation and management of hidden dangers in the fields of gas, hazardous chemicals, building construction, fire fighting, road traffic, illegal charging of electric vehicles, safety of vacation students, safety of river channels and ponds, and response to various natural disasters, effectively prevent and resolve various safety risks, and resolutely curb major accidents; third, we must strengthen law enforcement supervision. Investigation and rectification must be to the end, safety supervision must be precise and fine, the "strict and meticulous and fast" implementation, work responsibilities must be compacted.
