Among the fleeing armies was a woman with two young children named Du Shi. Because she didn't have enough food with her child, she was exhausted and no longer had the strength to go any further. In order to catch up with the speed of the army, she could only pick up the favor and pick up the two children on her shoulders.
After walking for a while, Du Shi was also tired, so he casually found a place to sit down and rest. Just after resting for a while, Du Shi saw a Taoist-like person walking in front of him, and when the Daoist priest walked to Du Shi's side, he carefully looked at the two children sitting on the burden and was shocked, and he exclaimed: "These are 2 dragons you picked!" "The dragon has always been a symbol of the royal family in ancient times, and it is very rebellious to say such a thing, and if it is heard by people with hearts, it is likely to be doomed, which is a major sin against the Nine Tribes." Du Shi was also very surprised to hear the Words of the Daoist, she understood the meaning of the Daoist in her heart, but she did not quite understand how such a thing could happen to herself.
The woman desperately wanted to know more information, but the Daoist priest smiled slightly and left, and the Daoist priest had already disappeared when Du Shi chased after him. Just when the woman was annoyed, she suddenly heard a song and ballad coming from afar: "Mo Dao has no son of heaven today, and he will bear the burden of the son of heaven." The woman understood when she heard this, and carefully trained her two sons, raising them all as far as possible to become good people who loved the country and the people. Later, these two children did indeed become emperors, and they were the famous founding emperor Zhao Kuangyin of Song Taizu and the second emperor of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Guangyi.
It is reasonable to say that after the death of the emperor, the throne will generally be passed to his son, but why does Zhao Kuangyin pass the throne to his brother after his death? This is also the credit of Du's family. In her lifetime, Du Shi never forgot what the Taoist priest had said, and even before she died, she still thought about her two brothers, afraid that after her death, the two brothers would kill each other. When Jianlong was in the second year, Du Shi, who was already over 60 years old, suddenly fell ill, and Zhao Kuangyin, who was already emperor at the time, served his mother, personally fried medicine for her, and served him to drink. But Du Shi said that all this was useless, and she looked at Zhao Kuangyin, who was suffering from the pain of parting from his flesh and bones, and asked, "Do you know why you can be emperor?" ”
Zhao Kuangyin cried and said, "All this is the credit of my mother. But Du Shi shook his head and told Zhao Kuangyin all the things he had encountered with the Daoist priest and said, "The reason why you can become emperor is only because Zhou Shizong Chai Rong passed his throne to a child who will not take charge, and in the future you must remember to pass it on to adults, so don't make a big mistake because of it." Zhao Kuangyin agreed to his mother's request. In 976 BC, Zhao Kuangyin died, he did not pass the throne to his son, but directly to his younger brother Zhao Guangyi, both brothers became emperors, and the words of the Taoist priests were all fulfilled.
