Due to the misjudgment of the Japanese army on battlefield intelligence, a large number of Japanese soldiers were blocked in front of the barbed wire fence on the periphery of Basilone's position. So it was a great shooting moment for Basilone. The Japanese soldiers who slowly climbed over the barbed wire became Basilone's targets, and the trigger was pulled down, and the bullets shot like a storm at the slow-moving Japanese army.
