Windows 11 SE system is fully available: configuration requirements are reduced

Last November, Microsoft announced the Windows 11 SE system, which is now fully available.

It is reported that at present, Acer, Asus, Dell, Dynabook, Lenovo, HP, JP. IK and other notebook products equipped with Windows 11 SE have been launched. Microsoft's own Surface Laptop SE will also go on sale soon, starting at $249 (about 1581 yuan).

According to reports, the advantage of Windows 11 SE over Windows 10 is that it has made more perfect optimization of touch and voice input, but the biggest difference between it and the full version of Win10/11 is that it cannot install UWP, PWA and Win32 programs at will, such as unified configuration or authorization by cloud administrators, in six types of directories, including browsers, barrier-free APPS, content filtering APP, quiz classes, school communications, necessary debugging tools, etc.

At the same time, because the Win11 SE notebook is mainly positioned as K8 or K12 education users, the competition is Chrome OS, including the Surface Laptop SE. Therefore, the configuration requirements of Win11 SE are very low, and the high-performance CPU/8G memory/128GB hard disk required by Win11 no longer exist, and Microsoft has made special adaptation optimizations for low-end hardware.

Unfortunately, Win11 SE/Surface Laptop SE has no plans to launch the National Bank Edition.
