Parsons wrote on his social media: "Brother, I don't even know how to tell my story... The last few years have been crazy, and I've looked at a lot of things from the right perspective. I've been through a lot of ups and downs, and I'm grateful for every one of them. The only thing I want to do in my life is to be an NBA player. I didn't even realize, or rather I never thought, that I just wanted to play at the highest level of play. I can proudly say that I did it! Even though my career wasn't perfect, it was an interesting experience, and I want to thank everyone who has helped me achieve my dreams at this point.

To my family, my friends, my middle and high school basketball programs, and the University of Florida, I want to thank you for preparing me for this journey. To the Rockets, Lone Rangers, Grizzlies, and Hawks, I thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue my dreams. To all the staff, trainers, medics, coaches, teammates, agents and, most importantly, the fans who supported me, thank you. I'm definitely missing all of that, and the flights, the video replays and the races, but I'm excited to start the next chapter in my life. Thank you all, I love you. CP25
