Parsons was drafted in 2011, was selected by the Rockets with the 38th pick in the second round, and has played for the Rockets, Lone Rangers, Grizzlies, Hawks and other teams in his career, playing in a total of 440 games in his career, averaging 12.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, and was named to the second team of the best rookie team in his rookie season. In the six seasons that followed, he played for the Lone Rangers, Grizzlies, and Hawks, playing in 227 games, averaging only 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 26 minutes per game. In all six seasons, he made a total of $124.5 million.
