At the beginning of the new year, Changzhou's major projects attracted a happy start. On the afternoon of January 18, the German Rosenberg high-end electronic project with a total investment of 100 million US dollars was signed and settled in Changzhou National High-tech Zone. Sheng Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, met with Olaf Skell, CEO of Rosenberg Asia Pacific and General Manager of Rosenberg Changzhou, and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

As an important advanced manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta, Changzhou has a strong industrial foundation. In the next few years, Changzhou will vigorously implement the "532" development strategy around the urban positioning of "international intelligent city and central axis hub of the Yangtze River Delta", of which the new energy vehicle and core components industry is one of the key industries in the city, with high concentration and good development momentum. The settlement of the Rosenberg project will further broaden the track of Changzhou's new energy automobile industry and promote the transformation and upgrading of Changzhou's auto parts supporting industry. Changzhou will provide a full range of high-quality services to promote the early landing, early start and early production of the project. At the same time, it is hoped that Rosenberg will actively participate in Changzhou's "intelligent reform and digital rotation" work and jointly help Changzhou's "lighthouse factory" to achieve a breakthrough of zero as soon as possible.
Olaf Skyer said that Rosenberg will actively embrace the "big era" of new energy vehicles, continue to lead the development of the connector and wiring harness industry, continue to implement the business strategy of "German quality, local service", seize a larger market, and make due contributions to the development of Changzhou's new energy vehicle and core components industry and even the entire automotive industry.

Since 2000, Rosenberg has become a leading first-tier supplier of key components for automotive brands, and has carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation with the vast majority of China's own auto brands. In the field of high-end electronic connection systems, Rosenberg is also a hidden champion and standard setter in the industry.
It is reported that after the signing of the project, the first phase of the Rosenberg Changzhou base project is mainly engaged in the research and development and production of high-end automotive connectors and cable assemblies; the second phase of the project will simultaneously build a Rosenberg own factory with an area of 30,000 square meters. After the project reaches production, it is expected to have annual sales of more than 1 billion yuan.
