Shortly thereafter, on July 26, he received the last phone call from Elder Feng, who told him that he was not in good health and was sorry that he could not participate in the calligraphy and painting donation event he had invited on July 28.
Zhao Junbo introduced that Feng Deying has been ill since 2000, and his heart is not very good. When he was seriously ill last year, he refused to let relatives and friends visit the hospital, not wanting to cause trouble for everyone. "Before he died, he secretly wrote a note, and when his wife cleaned up his desk, she found this note, which said that after his death, he should not hold a memorial service, should not engage in large mourning ceremonies, and should scatter ashes on the land of his hometown, and did not deliberately build a grave to repair the tomb. He was attached to the hot land of Jiaodong's hometown and wrote such a last word. ”
In Zhao Junbo's impression, Feng Deying's personality is very simple, decent, jealous and hateful, friendly with people, especially very concerned about the bottom of society. "Every time I went to see him, or he called me, I would ask the people in my hometown how they were doing, whether it was cold or not, and whether their clothes were warm."
Zhao Junbo told reporters that Feng Deying is also keen on charity, in 1958, in his early 20s, he donated the 8,000 yuan of manuscript fees earned from his first debut work "Bitter Cauliflower" to rushan hometown free of charge; in 2008, Shandong selected the five cultural celebrities in the province after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Feng Deying was on the list, and he donated all the 200,000 yuan of prizes obtained in this selection to his hometown to support the local development of cultural undertakings.
Feng Deying's upright personality is also reflected in some of his style of doing things. In 2011, another of his large-scale TV drama literary scripts "Fog Lock Winter" was released. Zhao Junbo also clearly remembers that in 2013, Guangdong Southern Film and Television Group wanted to take over the TV series, and held a seminar for this purpose, from which he participated in the coordination. The producers wanted to change this literary script and add some funny content. Feng Deying firmly disagreed, saying, "I'd rather not make this TV series than destroy the original things in my script." This is a historical story that reflects the bloody and indomitable struggle of the people of Jiaodong during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and how can it be used to tarnish this tragic history with funny content lenses. ”
Zhao Junbo said that he is a loyal reader of Feng Lao, and Feng Lao's works can be said to be an artistic history of the Jiaodong Revolution. Whether it is "Bitter Cauliflower", "Mountain Chrysanthemum", "Spring Flower", or "Land of Blood" and "Clear Sky", his creation has always had a continuous love affair with his hometown Rushan. "He also took this dedication to life of the Jiaodong people to the Air Force unit to experience, completed the creative task given by Liu Yalou, the commander of the Air Force at the time, and wrote the sensational movie script "Female Pilot", which was published in seven editions in a row in the People's Daily."
