Adaptability is a key factor in the competitiveness of the exchange block. The "Chocolate Swap Block" claims to be able to adapt to the models developed by 80% of the world's pure electric platforms that have already been listed and will be launched in the next three years. At present, the first car to support the EVOGO power exchange service is the FAW Besturn NAT combination power exchange version, which will be launched in the first batch of 10 cities.
According to reports, the "chocolate power exchange block" is a mass-produced battery specially developed for the realization of shared power exchange, with three characteristics of small and high energy, free combination and minimalist design. Using the latest CTP technology of the Catherg era, the weight energy density of the "chocolate exchange block" exceeds 160Wh/kg, and the volume energy density exceeds 325Wh/L. In addition, the "chocolate changer block" adopts wireless BMS technology, and only has a high-voltage positive and negative interface on the outside, which greatly improves the reliability of the plugged and unplugged components.
The express change station has four characteristics: small area, fast circulation, large capacity and full climate. Each standard station only needs three parking spaces, a single block to change power for about 1 minute, the station can store 48 power exchange blocks, to ensure that users always have a full power block can be replaced, no need to wait for a long time. At the same time, the substation can also be provided with versions adapted to the climatic and environmental conditions of different regions.
The combination of "power exchange block, quick change station, APP" is the new service brand of EVOGO created by the times electrical service, which has the characteristics of one electricity and multiple vehicles, on-demand rental electricity, and rechargeable and exchangeable. "Chocolate power exchange block" can be applied to passenger cars and logistics vehicles from A00 class to B class and C class, and the exchange power station can be adapted to the use of "chocolate power exchange block" of various brand models; consumers can "rent electricity on demand", freely choose the number of rented power exchange blocks, flexible and convenient and economical; at the same time, EVOGO combination power exchange solution can be used for private charging, and the existing home charge, fast charge together constitute a full-scene energy replenishment method.
Although the blueprint for power exchange in the Ningde era has been unfolded, there are still many questions left: what is the cost of infrastructure construction in the power exchange mode? How much does the so-called rental electricity affect the purchase price of the car? What other car partners does EVOGO have? It is undeniable that in the context of the full roll-out of the new energy vehicle market, the energy replacement method is worthy of the layout of the Ningde era, but whether it can become a hegemon like a power battery, or whether the investment and harvest can be satisfactory, it remains to be said.
