The Republic of China should be regarded as a relatively special period of history on the mainland, which has separated from the feudal society and has begun to slowly move towards freedom and equality, and everyone's ideological consciousness is more open than that of the Qing Dynasty. On the surface, the Republic of China insists on a republican system as a whole, and sovereignty belongs to all the people, but in fact it is still an era of warlord division. For example, Zhang Zuolin, Sun Chuanfang, Wu Peifu, Yan Xishan, they were all famous warlords during the Republic of China period.

Among them, Yan Xishan has always been in the official field of Shanxi, from the beginning of the Xinhai Revolution to the founding of New China, he has been ruling Shanxi for 38 years. In these 38 years, it can be said that no one can shake his position in Shanxi, because he also has a title called "King of Shanxi". When Yan Xishan was in Shanxi, there was a woman around him, that is, our protagonist today, the fifth girl Yan Huiqing. She is Yan Xishan's younger sister, and also takes care of the trivial affairs of life for Yan Xishan, and today Shusheng will talk to you about the ending of this five sisters.

For Yan Huiqing's evaluation, many people have capitalized close-ups, such as she is Shanxi ''Song Meiling''' and Yan Xishan's obedient iron fist figure and so on. In fact, these are still people's own imagination, and the exaggerated elements are relatively large, but it is true that Yan Huiqing is a witness to many major events in Yan Xishan.

After Yan Xishan reached middle age, he was very undisciplined in his life, and he was very unconcerned about diet. Everyone knows that irregular diet is very affecting people's physical health, so the original life secretary around Yan Xishan will sometimes advise Yan Xishan to take care of his body, Yan Xishan can't listen to it, and sometimes he will be angry, just because of this matter Yan Xishan has changed several life secretaries.

Later, after driving the life secretary away again, Yan Huiqing just graduated from school and had nothing to do at home all day, so he was called by Yan Xishan to become his temporary life secretary.

Yan Huiqing can speak well, and she can also do everything about Yan Xishan's life and living, and she can find out Yan Xishan's preferences very well. Because she knew that Yan Xishan's diet was very irregular, she often supervised Yan Xishan's eating and advised him to eat regularly, coupled with Yan Huiqing's ability to speak and be kind, Yan Xishan sounded very happy every time. In this way, after Yan Huiqing was the life secretary for a period of time, Yan Xishan felt very good, so he let Yan Huiqing become his exclusive life secretary, usually responsible for his own life affairs. Yan Huiqing can be said to be smooth sailing in her career, and her work is also handy. But compared with her career, Yan Huiqing's marriage was not very successful.

Yan Huiqing has had two marriages, the first marriage is a Japanese student, the two are relatively happy after marriage, but this happiness did not last long, the husband died of illness, Yan Huiqing was alone.

Yan Huiqing later met Liang Huazhi, often pairing up with Liang Huazhi and rarely with her husband.

In March 1949, on the eve of the liberation of Taiyuan, Shanxi, Yan Xishan fled to Nanjing in the name of a meeting, preparing to flee from Nanjing to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek as planned. Yan Xishan told this sister of his own before going to Nanjing to let her stay and preside over the overall situation, in fact, he wanted her to stabilize the people's hearts. It wasn't long before she and her confidants flew out of Taiyuan. However, it did not take long for the People's Liberation Army to come, the airfield was lost, and Yan Huiqing fled to Taiwan with Yan Xishan before the People's Liberation Army was surrounded.

In April 1949, the People's Liberation Army surrounded Taiyuan, yan Huiqing knew that he could not escape and prepared to commit suicide with his lover Liang Huazhi, so on April 24, the People's Liberation Army launched a general attack on Taiyuan, and launched a street battle in Taiyuan. Yan Xishan's remaining henchmen were inferior to the People's Liberation Army and lost control of Taiyuan. Yan Huiqing had originally planned to flee by plane with one of Liang Hua, but now it was not possible, so they committed suicide by taking poison in the basement of the Taiyuan Appeasement Office. Just before Yan Huiqing committed suicide, Liang Huazhi wrote a telegram.

Although Yan Huiqing had committed suicide, her death could further her relationship with Chiang Kai-shek, so he compiled a list of "Five Hundred Perfect People in Taiyuan" based on the telegram sent to him by Yan Huiqing and obtained political capital for himself.

After Chiang Kai-shek got the list, he also publicized it, and soon after Yan Xishan fled to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek and never returned to his hometown. His sister Yan Huiqing was buried in a mass burial post outside Taiyuan City, which was really very tragic.
