At present, Apple's self-developed next-generation A16 application processor has completed the design, using TSMC's 4nm process projection, and is expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2022. In order to ensure that its own production capacity has accepted TSMC's price increase, Apple has contracted TSMC's 120,000-150,000 pieces of 4nm production capacity.
