Lin Hei'er was once the leader of the Boxer Rebellion's red light, and was rumored to be a god as the "Yellow Lotus Virgin". When the Eight-Nation Alliance invaded, he led the red light to illuminate the boxers and rushed to kill the enemy. So, what is the final outcome of Lin Hei'er?

(Lin Hei'er)
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the weak and faint Qing government signed many treaties with foreign powers that humiliated the country. Coupled with the continuous influx of foreign missionaries into China, they were strong in the country, and the Qing government bowed to them, so they did whatever they wanted in China and oppressed Chinese. This makes the people extremely hateful of them.
The Boxer Rebellion arose against the background of such an era, and under the slogan of "supporting the Qing Dynasty and destroying the foreigners," they claimed to have practiced a "sword and gun invulnerable" divine skill, killing foreigners and destroying churches. Not only did it relieve the hatred of the oppressed people, but it also made the ruling class think that it had great use value and extremely connived at them. So the people participated, and soon the Boxers grew and grew.
However, the Boxer Rebellion was a non-governmental organization called for magic, and they regarded women as "filthy things" and believed that as long as they touched women, they would destroy the protective body. So, they forbid women to participate.
However, it is difficult to prevent women from being seen. Therefore, in response to this situation, they have set up some affiliated organizations that recruit women, such as: red light, green light, blue light, black light and so on. These colors also represent different ages. For example, the red light is specially accepted for unmarried women aged 12 to 18. They are dressed in red clothes and red pants, with red shoes on their feet, red lanterns in their left hands, and red folding fans in their right hands. Their weapons were also covered with red spikes, making them the most brilliant of the Boxers' affiliated organizations.

Lin Hei'er is the leader of Tianjin's red light.
Lin Hei'er was born into a fisherman's family on tianjin's South Canal and learned some knives, guns and sticks when he was young. Later, due to the difficulties of life, he went around with his father and husband to sell art for a living.
Because his father and husband had offended foreign priests, they were severely beaten and died of their injuries.
The bumpy fate and the hatred of losing relatives made Lin Hei'er's heart full of hatred for foreigners.
In 1900, the Boxer Rebellion spread to Tianjin, and Zhang Decheng, the leader of the Kanzi Regiment, set up a general altar in Tianjin.
After Lin Hei'er learned about it, he responded positively. With the support of Zhang Decheng, she established a red light of the Boxer Rebellion's affiliated organization in Tianjin.
In order to absorb the believers, Lin Hei'er played the role of Xian Gu and performed spells. Propaganda said that after practicing the divine skills she taught, not only walking on the water without wet shoes, but also going to heaven and earth, thousands of miles away, can also take the first level of foreigners...
Of course, Lin Hei'er does have some skills. She has been walking in the rivers and lakes for many years and has learned some skills to cure diseases and save people. Some patients who could not afford to see a doctor, heard that she was skilled in medicine and came to ask for help. After healing, those people naturally sang praises to her. When word came and went, she became a "Yellow Lotus Virgin" and a goddess who burned incense and worshipped her.
The "Yellow Lotus Virgin" also alarmed the Qing government.
(Yulu)
According to the "Records of the Fist and Bandits", Yu Lu, the governor of Tianjin, had kindly invited Lin Hei'er to the governor's office. Lin Hei'er's action was extremely quiet, and the large boat she was sitting on was surrounded by red silk, and a red silk flag embroidered with the four characters of "Yellow Lotus Virgin" was raised on the mast of the boat. Wherever they went, people along the river watched from the shore and bowed down to the place where the boat was traveling.
After Lin Hei'er came ashore, he entered the governor's office in an eight-wheeled sedan that Yulu had already prepared at the dock.
Yulu was dressed in imperial clothes, and after seeing Lin Hei'er, he knelt down on the ground and asked her what was the way out of Tianjin? After hearing that it was okay, I breathed a long sigh of relief. Before leaving, he gave Lin Hei'er two yellow flags embroidered with the "Yellow Lotus Virgin" to Lin Hei'er, and asked the drummer to blow and beat all the way, sending Lin Hei'er and his party back to the altar behind the Hou family.
Lin Hei'er immediately set up an altar on the big boat in the Houjiahou South Canal to collect disciples. There were countless women who came to vote for a while, and soon there were as many as two or three thousand people. At each rally, Lin Hei'er "sat in the cupboard of god, hanging yellow curtains, incense candles, and worshipping", and his solemn and solemn posture made the onlookers also worship and prostrate themselves on the ground.
Lin Hei'er led the members of the Red Lantern Illumination, on the one hand, cooperated with Zhang Decheng to resist the foreigners and destroy the Foreign Church; on the other hand, he was responsible for publicizing the Red Lantern Illumination and the Boxer Rebellion and absorbing more believers; at the same time, he was also responsible for rescuing the wounded and collecting intelligence.
After the Eight-Nation Alliance landed at Dagukou, in order to defend Tianjin, it followed Lin Hei'er's men and rushed to the foreigners with red lanterns. However, the divine exercises they practiced did not show miracles. In the guns of the foreigners, they were soon killed and wounded, and the rest who were not willing to be prisoners also committed suicide and martyrdom.
However, after the battle, Lin Hei'er disappeared.
There are several theories about Lin Hei'er's whereabouts.
The first was captured abroad for the Eight-Power Alliance. It is recorded in the Records of the Fist and Bandits: "The fall of Jincheng was captured by the coalition forces. Repeatedly asked for a bow in the capital, but did not have much point, so he went to all continents in Europe and the United States, thinking that it was a plaything cloud. ”
The second was captured and killed by the imperial court. In the "Selected Materials of Tianjin Literature and History", it is recorded: "The Yellow Lotus Mother and the Three Immortals were sent to the Capital Gate by people, and the case was completed by the Fa. ”
The third was killed by foreigners. The "January Chronicle of Tianjin" records: "The Yellow Lotus Virgin was also killed by foreigners, and the fairy whose red light shone on it lived in the inner city, the foreigners burned their homes, cursed their people, and those who lived in the outer city, the immortals have disappeared." ”
Due to the inconsistency of the sayings, coupled with the fact that Lin Hei'er became the leader of the Red Light Illumination, in order to deify himself, he rarely showed his true face. Therefore, no one knows which statement is correct, and there is still no conclusion as to where she will go.
