Design "thick and thin"
The lines of the Cannon General are softer than those of the General G9, but the overall pressure and momentum have not been reduced by half a point. If some friends like to take photos of the General G9 to find relatives in foreign markets, then the Cannon General has a higher degree of originality, we can not only see more Chinese elements in it, but also appreciate the designer's understanding of hard school, personality and texture.
From the body color matching, we can clearly feel the designer's interpretation of fashion and trend, bid farewell to the black, white and white of most competitors, and the more energetic body color can better meet the contemporary people's yearning for personality. The vitality orange and ice crystal blue models that appeared at the listing event scene have an eye-catching ability that is quite possible.
The overall design of the two is more similar, but the cannon general integrates more Chinese elements, and the former Middle Net design is inspired by the Great Wall Beacon Tower, which naturally integrates the red brand logo into it.
The headlights are similar to the General F9, but after careful optimization, the visual effect is remarkable. However, although the lamp cavity is exquisitely designed, the halogen light source of the whole series is still slightly insufficient. As for the LED day running lights and fog lights on both sides of the front surround, they are like perforations on the Great Wall, unique and majestic.
The wide black wheel eyebrows and rivets highlight the achievements of the cannon general in performance strength, and this kind of original factory modification effect is also an essential element of the current trend quality pickup truck. In addition, the three-dimensional size of the General G7 is quite impressive, 5340 (5630) * 1980 * 1885mm, and the width of nearly two meters has also become the leader of the market segment. The blackened wheels are modest in shape, but under the decoration of the red "G" shaped logo, the sense of strength and sportiness is just right, and the 265/60 R18 tires matched by the Cannon General are also at the mainstream level of the same class.
Compared with the change of the front face, the designer seems to be very hassle-free in the design of the rear part of the General G7, which is similar to the Great General G9, but fortunately, the chrome after the good texture is surrounded by a point for it in the sense of refinement.
The cannon-driven general also retained the tail row effect of the two sides, which very well demonstrated the hard-hitting temperament. And in addition to the anti-roll frame of the cargo box, the anti-scratch layer and the reverse image and other configurations, the tail door of the cannon general also adopts a hydraulic brace to make its opening and closing more elegant, thus leaving many competitors behind.
The style has not changed, and the heart is luxurious
The interior of the Cannon General does not change much compared to the General G9, but this cannot be said that Fukuda does not care, let alone describe it as lackluster. The cannon-driving general is full of energy and performs extremely easily on the road up and down the mountain city of Chongqing. After the engine speed enters 1500 rpm, the power will change significantly, and with the continuous pressure of the throttle, the sleeping power will be continuously awakened, giving the overtaking and mid-section acceleration full of confidence.
The ZF 8AT transmission performed beyond imagination and matched the engine so naturally that it didn't seem to exist. However, in the long-term stop-and-go, the gearbox shift will still have some hesitation, and there is still room for optimization.
Steering wheel directivity is not what pickup models are good at, but the cannon general's throttle and brakes are quite linear, definitely belonging to the category of good control. As for the silence of the whole vehicle at low speed, it will not be much worse than the family SUV at the same price.
