Of the regiments of the Thirty-first Division, the Ninety-first Regiment was the farthest, having reached the area of Lower Zhenfuli. They did not know what was wrong with their radio, and they could not contact the military headquarters or the division headquarters.

It is worth mentioning that after Mr. Peng heard about the escape of the Ninety-first Regiment, he was very appreciative of Li Changlin and soon promoted him to deputy commander of the Thirty-first Division.
In 1955, Li Changlin was awarded the rank of colonel, and in 1960 he was promoted to the rank of colonel.
