The reason why TSMC can achieve such excellent results is inseparable from the help of its VIP-level customer, Apple. TSMC, which is well versed in this principle, has also given Apple enough face, often giving Apple special treatment and differential treatment, making Qualcomm, AMD, Intel and other customers dissatisfied, complaining, and even want to find Samsung to cooperate and change to a new supplier full of sincerity.
However, the global chip famine is intensifying, even if the TSMC that earns a lot of money, in the case of considering the cost and short supply, the price increase is inevitable, in 2020, the giant will raise the price of chips in an all-round way, and the average price of optimized advanced processes such as 12nm, 7nm, 4nm and so on has been raised by 8-10%.
