SAIC-GM Buick in 2022 for the first time to add ILC driver command lane change function

Some models of the Buick GL8 Evia and GL8 ES Luzun have added the ILC driver command lane change function, which optimizes the steering wheel departure detection time of the LCC lane center intelligent cruise system and the TJA traffic congestion assistance system. At the same time, it also expands the Buick full-speed domain assisted driving application scenarios, making the car owner's travel smarter, safer and more efficient. When the owner opens the LCC lane center intelligent cruise system and the speed is higher than 40km/h, by flicking the steering lever, it can be transformed to the corresponding adjacent lane under the clear road conditions of the target lane line.

Buick's update not only provides more than 20 intelligent driving assistance functions including LCC lane center intelligent cruise, TJA traffic congestion assistance, HOD steering wheel off-hand detection, DOW door opening safety warning, etc., but also combines the deep integration of central data and efficient decision-making control technology, develops and optimizes for China's road conditions and user driving habits, and meets the highest functional safety level requirements of ASIL D. At the same time, it also supports OTA remote upgrades, with the ability to expand to higher level of driving assistance functions, bringing owners a smart, reliable, stable, high coverage of the intelligent and safe driving experience.
