Previously, HotToys announced a 1/6 proportion of the actor Martin of the classic American time-travel science fiction film "Back to the Future" can be moved, and then launched the 1/6 of the cute figure of Dr. Brown, the prototype of Rick in "Rick and Morty". At first I wondered why HotToys would suddenly pick up this old IP to make two products, but now it seems that there is indeed a follow-up operation: the Back to the Future 3 version of the Western cowboy style Martin and Dr. Brown's 1/6 canon figure has been open for booking.
In Back to the Future 3, martin travels back in time to save Dr. Brown from being killed in 1855, and begins a Western-style adventure. In 1855, Martin and Dr. Brown both changed into denim costumes in Westerns, which was also an important performance of HotToys' launch of the product.
Martin's western denim style is dressed in a classic denim brown coat, straight-grained shirt with buttons, brown trousers and brown leather shoes, with a belt gun cover with leather texture and bullet detailing, a light blue printed scarf, and an Indian fringed cape (built-in magnet to show a cape level), and the head sculpture is not much different from the previous version of "Back to the Future 1", but with a cowboy hat.
In addition, martin's 1/6 scale cute doll accessories include a hoverboard brought from the future of Back to the Future 2, a pie plate, a stove door with a lanyard (used to restore the bulletproof armor equipped during duels in the film), a talker, a large clock photo throughout the series, a photo of Dr. Brown's tombstone, and a pistol.
Dr. Brown's figure is also shaped in Western denim, wearing a buttoned shirt, a gray tank top suit, a khaki trench coat, coffee trousers, belt gun holsters with leather texture and bullet detailing, and a white printed scarf. In addition, Dr. Brown has a replacement brown checked blazer and a gray bow tie to recreate the appearance of the female teacher, Miss Clara, to the prom. The head sculpture is different from the "Back to the Future 1" version, with a remastered facial look, a lot more serious, and also with a cowboy hat.
In terms of accessories, Dr. Brown's 1/6 doll is paired with a miniature time machine, a pocket watch, a talker, a pistol, a rifle with a large sniper scope, and of course, a replacement hand and a puppet platform, and I am interested in the rifle, which seems to have a steampunk feel.
The "Back to the Future 3" version of Martin and Dr. Brown's 1/6 ratio of the moving dolls has been booked at the HotToys Tmall flagship store, both priced at 1680 yuan, and the shipment time is unsurprisingly in the second half of 2023.
