Historical Declassification: Where did the desperate learning of a generation of famous doctors Bian Que come from?

Bian Que is one of the most famous great physicians in the history of our country, and together with Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing and Li Shizhen, he is called the four famous doctors of ancient China, and he has made great contributions to the medical cause of our Chinese nation. In the history of our country, Bian Que was the first great physician of the Warring States period with official biographical records. The founder of it was Sima Qian, a famous historian of the Western Han Dynasty. Sima Qian in the Chronicle of History. The Biography of Bian Que brilliantly recounts how Bian Que was known by the eyes of the gods and men and obtained his true legend.

Sima Qian in the Chronicle of History. The biography of Bian Que is described as follows: "The guest of the long Sang Jun, Bian Que is unique, and often encounters it." Chang Sangjun also knows that Bian Que is also very human. ”

Sima Qian's description of Bian Que is to the effect that Bian Que's home is an inn. When Bian Que was young, suddenly one day a guest named Chang Sangjun wanted to stay at his inn, although this guest was already silver-haired, but his temperament was extraordinary, and he stayed in this guest house for a long time after coming to this guest house. Although the time was very long, Bian Que respected and took care of Chang Sangjun as always in terms of etiquette and life.

Maybe some friends will ask: What kind of person is this Chang Sangjun? Why did you stay so long in Bian Que's inn?

To answer this question, we must first understand a historical term, which is said in the Taoist doctrine of traditional Chinese culture: The master looks for an apprentice, not an apprentice looks for a master. What does that mean? For thousands of years, there have been many cultivators in China's famous mountains and rivers and some deep mountains and old forests, and those who have cultivated masters (real people, immortals) have to go to the human world to find them when they want to take apprentices or find a skill that can inherit his skills.

And this person, known as Chang Sang Jun, was precisely the master of the cultivation path. He came to stay at this inn because he found and favored Bian Que not an ordinary person, but a person who could inherit his own mastery. That's why he stayed down to observe and test Bian Que. Once he has passed the test, he will be taken to the mountains to teach him monasticism.

There is a description in the historical record that Bian Que once lived in the Nine Immortal Caves of Pengque Mountain (Pengshan and Queshan) in Zhongqiu (Inner Qiu) (also known as Qin Yue Ren Cave, which is recorded in the Tang Dynasty's "Qin Yue Ren Cave Song"), studied under Chang Sang Jun, passed on his medical forbidden recipes, drank the water of the mountain peak "Shangchi" (stone basin), and cultivated superb medical skills. At the beginning of the cure for Zhao Jianzi's five-day illness of not waking up, Zhao Jianzi gave him 40,000 acres of Pengque Mountain Field to Bian Que and obtained the land of Food. Coincidentally, the head of Pengque Mountain, above the Bian Que Cave Mansion, there are natural stone magpies that want to fly and the image of magical stone people who watch the world, and the Zhao people regard the Qin Yue people as auspicious magpies, and honor them as "Bian Que", that is, "in the Zhao people's name Bian Que".

There is also a passage in the record: Chang Sangjun "gave bian que his medicine out of his bouque: 'Drinking is the water of the above pool, and for thirty days it should be known.'" 'Nai Si took all of his forbidden books and Bian Que. ”

These few words were basically said: After Bian Que was favored by his master Chang Sangjun, he took him to the Nine Immortals Cave of The Que Mountain in Zhongqiu Peng. During his monasticism, Bian Que's master Chang Sangjun took out the "Immortal Medicine" from his arms and gave it to him. The immortal medicine mentioned here may be what the Taoists call the elixir refined in the alchemy furnace! Chang Sangjun told Bian Que that if he took this medicine with water that did not touch the ground, after thirty days, he would be able to see what was invisible to the naked eye of the user.

After Bian Que took the medicine according to Master's words for thirty days, he "saw the people on the side of the Yuan." In this way, we can see the crux of the five Tibetan diseases, especially in the name of diagnosing pulses. This sentence is to say: After thirty days of taking the medicine, Bian Que really has the special function of seeing through the human body wall to see things. At the same time, his master also taught all the healing books and secret recipes to Bian Que. When Bian Que uses this function to see a doctor, he can see through the internal organs of the human body and can accurately know which part of the disease is in.

Historical Declassification: Where did the desperate learning of a generation of famous doctors Bian Que come from?

Since then, Bian Que has begun to practice medicine in the State of Qi or the State of Zhao, in the name of "diagnosing the pulse", and began to save people in the world, fulfilling the mission entrusted to him by his master! It can be said that Bian Que is a well-deserved "grandfather" of Chinese medicine pulse.

From the above historical records, we can draw the following conclusion: Bian Que's medical skills were not as we know and say now: it was obtained because of reading medical books, studying hard, and so on. The real situation is that his master used the elixir he made with his stunt to open his heavenly eyes, giving him the special ability to see through the human body, and then teaching him the ability to learn the secret recipe of medicine. In fact, all this was done by his master.

It is precisely because Bian Que has these special functions and has mastered those masters of curing diseases, it is not surprising that he has displayed various miracles when practicing medicine in the world. People deserve to call him a divine healer! Text: Qingzhu
