In order to let Xi Deyi practice the stage steps well, in the winter, the rich man threw water and ice on the mat and asked him to put on his boots to practice the stage steps on it. Xi Dede has been humbly seeking education for several years, learning solidly, practicing hard, and under the guidance of the rich and noble son, the level of performance is getting higher and higher. One day, when he was acting at the Shaanxi Guild Hall, he was recognized by Shaanxi merchants and named to see his "Branding Bowl Meter". The owner of the box, Li Fugui, made it difficult, and Xi Deyu took the initiative to ask for the performance of "The Bowl Count". After the performance, under the repeated questioning of FuGuizi, Xi Dede had to admit it and explain the original commission. The rich man was greatly moved, and the two became friends from then on.
Xi Dede later visited Teachers in Zhangye and other places to learn art, and his skills improved day by day, and he became a famous actor in Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces. After he became famous, he once performed in Jingyuan County, and listened to the famous local scholar Mr. Feng Xiancha say that there was an old artist who had played qin in the Jingyuan Fushan class in the past called Tian Calf, who could not only sing Susheng opera, but also perform pure horn dramas, such as "Lu Hua Dang" and "Visiting the White Robe", which was very unique, and now it is sixty miles away from Jingyuan. Xi Deyu immediately prepared a generous gift, and specially went to Buck Mountain to visit Tian Daoniu, and the two of them saw each other as they were, and Tian Yuniu taught Xi Moral Education the path and gong frame of the pure horn play "Lu Hua Dang" and "Visiting the White Robe", as well as the platform frame of Sun Wu's step-foot bucket in "Five Thunder Arrays", and since then Xi Deyu has not only been a Susheng Taidou, but also a master of pure practitioners.
His representative repertoire includes "Holding the Pillar of Fire", "Lu'anzhou", "Six Great Trials", "Chu TangYi", "Yuanmen Chopper", "Bowl Counting", "Sun and Moon Chart", "Huluyu", "Crying Qinting", "Suwu Shepherd" and so on. He also transplanted and performed in the Peking Opera "Weeping Ancestral Temple". In his later years, he performed the Gansu genre's flower face drama "Flame Foal", "Broken Fangla", "Lu Hua Dang" and "Heroes of the Crowd", and the Jingxing actors were also impressed. He has trained famous actors such as Huang Zhizhong, Liang Peihua, Gao Shouzhong, Li Zhizhong, Li Yihua, Zhou Zhengfeng, Kong Xinsheng, Zhang Yonghua, Lei Zhenming, etc., and he is also known as a generation of masters of Gansu Qin cavity art. The day before his death, he also performed "Biyou Palace" at the Lanzhou Yunyu Society.
