Beijing, January 16 (China News Network) -- On February 8, the Beijing Winter Olympic Symphony Suite "Ice and Snow Rendezvous" will be premiered by the Beijing Symphony Orchestra at the Zhongshan Park Music Hall in Beijing.

Beijing Culture and Art Fund's 2020 annual funding project "Beijing Winter Olympics Symphonic Suite "Ice and Snow Rendezvous"" is a symphonic music work created by composers Zheng Junsheng and Zheng Junli specifically for the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the premiere is guided by the China Folk Writers Association, sponsored by the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and undertaken by the Beijing Lehua National Music and Culture Industry Development Center and Beijing Voice Line Culture Communication and Development Co., Ltd.

According to reports, the Winter Olympic Symphony Suite "Ice and Snow Rendezvous" will be composed of five parts, namely the overture - "Ice and Snow Dream", the first movement - "Ice and Snow Flying", the second movement - "Passionate Dream", the third movement - "Ice and Snow Rendezvous", and the final song - "World Family". Emphasis is placed on skillful expression in composition and orchestration, while emphasizing audiovisual innovation. The language of music is full of infinite imagination, like a dream.

The 70-minute work will depict the powerful power of countless athletes in the Winter Olympics with notes through a grand description of the temporal and spatial description of the movement. Through the sonorous and powerful, vivid and lively musical image, accompanied by the dynamic music theme of the Winter Olympic Games, the symphony concert will closely focus on the alternating transformation process of each movement, comprehensively present the cultural characteristics of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and fully display the fighting spirit of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

At the press conference on the 15th, composer Zheng Junsheng said that symphony is not only music that adults appreciate, children can also appreciate and appreciate the charm of music, let children enter the world of elegant music, and feel the ice and snow passion of the Winter Olympics. Zheng Junli introduced that the brothers spent more than a year to create this musical work, hoping to pass on the passion of the Beijing Winter Olympics to every listener through surging music.

The scene also specially invited the young sheng player Wang Yang to play one of the pieces "We Are Waiting for You" with traditional Chinese instruments, and the enthusiastic style and rich Chinese style aroused people's infinite reverie of the Winter Olympics.
