December 22 marks the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The series of performances and activities for the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the National Centre for the Performing Arts was brilliantly presented online and offline from December 9 to December 22.

On the evening of the 22nd, the opera film "Visitor on the Iceberg", the beijing symphony orchestra concert of "Retiring the Old and Welcoming the New", the original contemporary dance drama "Xian Xinghai" and the drama "Doll's House" were staged in the opera house, concert hall, drama field and small theater respectively. Exhibitions such as "The Stage Exhibition That Never Ends", "Curtain Light - National Centre for the Performing Arts Stage Art Photography Exhibition", "Solidified Melody - Invitation Exhibition of Sculpture Works of the National Centre for the Performing Arts", "Classical and Fashion - The Third National Centre for the Performing Arts Stage Costume Exhibition" and other exhibitions were held in different art spaces, bringing cultural feasts of different art disciplines to the audience. In addition to a variety of offline activities, the National Centre for the Performing Arts has also prepared an online special planning program, which the audience can watch in the "cloud" through major media network platforms such as classical music channels and CCTV networks, and feel the excitement of the theater series of activities.

In 2021, the National Centre for the Performing Arts staged more than 570 commercial performances, benefiting 460,000 audiences, holding nearly 580 performances and activities for various art popularization performances, and planning 33 exhibitions. In terms of artistic production, the National Centre for the Performing Arts has launched a total of 4 newly produced plays and rehearsed 10 plays.
