In his later years, Kangxi was particularly fond of Han concubines, most of whom were women from the people who were not eligible to participate in the draft, but were sent to the Capital Division by foreign officials and became members of the emperor's harem. Today I want to talk about the last concubine who bore children for Kangxi, she is a Han concubine, she is Mu Concubine.

Mu Concubine Chen was a Han woman from the folk, her father's name was Chen Qishan, Chen Qishan had no title and no official position, so it was inferred that Chen was a Han woman from the folk.
The Imperial Family of the Qing Dynasty has always had a tradition of "Manchu-Han non-marriage", but it should be noted that the "Han" in the "Manchu-Han Non-Marriage" here largely refers to those pure Han people who are not in the flag, and those Han people in the flag are eligible to participate in the draft, and they can become the emperor's concubines.
For example, the Jiaqing Emperor's birth mother, Empress Xiaoyi chun (LingFei), was a Han woman from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and her ancestors had committed crimes, and they did not enter the harem through the draft and were favored by Qianlong. In fact, for those pure Han concubines who are not in the flag, the Qing Emperor is also very fond of, these Han concubines are generally foreign officials to the imperial court to the beautiful women, many times, the emperor will solve the problem of their family's establishment, the way is to let their people into the flag, such as Qianlong's more favored Pure Hui Emperor Guifei, originally a Han girl, and later Qianlong made his people into the flag (the white flag of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
As for when Mu Concubine Chen entered the palace, there is no record in the historical records, it is estimated that it was between Kangxi fifty and Kangxi fifty-five years, and the age of Chen Shi would not be too large, it was estimated that it was a thirteen or fourteen-year-old girl, but at that time, Kangxi's age was relatively old, almost sixty years old. However, this was not much in ancient times, especially in the emperor's harem, which was a norm.
Moreover, it is certain that Mu Concubine Chen Is definitely a beautiful woman, otherwise, with her origin, she would never have entered the harem of the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
Sure enough, chen soon after entering the palace, he was favored by Kangxi, and Chen's belly was also very contentious, and in the fifty-fifth year of Kangxi and the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi, he gave birth to two sons for Kangxi, namely the twenty-fourth son of the emperor, Yinmi, and the crown prince Yin, these two princes were the last two sons of Kangxi, and thus Chen became the last concubine to bear children for Kangxi. However, the last son, Yin Yu, died on the day of his birth, and Yin Mi was lucky to survive.
Although the Chen clan gave birth to two daughters for Kangxi, she was still not qualified to be a concubine by her origin, she was only a concubine. However, after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he issued an edict: "Now there are those who have not been crowned the mother of their great-born brothers, and they should be crowned nobles." According to this edict, the Chen clan was honored as the Emperor KaoBai Nobleman.
Although she was honored and her son Yin Mi survived smoothly, Chen's health has not been very good, and she died in the fourth year of Yongzheng, estimated to be less than thirty years old.
However, Chen's son Yin Mi was treated favorably by Qianlong, who succeeded to the throne and made this younger emperor the Prince of Heshuo, and at the same time, Chen was also honored as the imperial concubine, which was a relatively good ending among the many Han concubines of Kangxi.
