The most hated traitor, after 100 years of death, was also whipped by Zhu Yuanzhang, and his descendants will always be untouchables

When the Song Dynasty fell, there were only two children, Zhao Fu of Song Duanzong and Zhao Fu of Song Huaizong, who escaped from Lin'an, and in addition to this, no other royal lords were seen raising the banner of the Song Dynasty to establish power. After hundreds of years of reproduction, the royal family of the Song Dynasty will never have only such a few people.

The "History of Song" records that during the Shaoding period (1228-1233) alone, there were nearly 3,000 descendants of the imperial family in the Quanzhou area. Where have all these people gone? This has to mention a traitorous figure - Pu Shou Geng.

Pu Shou Gengshang was a Champa (Vietnamese) Semu people who came to Guangzhou at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty and became rich by doing overseas trade. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Pu Shougeng moved to Quanzhou with the Pu family, relying on Quanzhou, the largest port in the East, to become a huge wealth of maritime merchants.

At that time, Pu Shou Geng was a bit like Zheng Zhilong in the Ming Dynasty, because he occupied a trading port and had private arms for protecting maritime trade, the Song Dynasty appointed Pu Shou Geng as an envoy to Fujian to pacify the coastal capital and Quanzhou Shipping Division, hoping to use his strength to strengthen coastal defense. And Pu Shou Geng also relied on the imperial court's edict to become the "Tu Emperor" of Quanzhou, which integrated officials and businesses.

In 1276, the Mongol Yuan army marched south into the Southern Song Dynasty at Lin'an, and Lu Xiufu, Zhang Shijie and other main warriors escorted the young emperors Zhao Fu and Zhao Fu all the way south to Fujian, hoping to rebuild the Song Dynasty in Quanzhou. Because the Mongol army's combat ability on the road is fierce, but the strength of the marine division is not strong.

At that time, the main force of the Southern Song Dynasty Water Division still existed, and there was also a Water Division stationed in Quanzhou, which was a complete war. However, Pu ShouGeng saw the southern Song Dynasty's storms and storms, secretly accepted the Yuan Dynasty's surrender, closed the quanzhou city gates, and slaughtered the 3,000 Song Dynasty royal relatives who remained here.

At the time of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Pu Shougeng, who had forgotten his righteousness, chose to join the new dynasty. Not only that, Pu ShouGeng also donated all the ships under his control to the Yuan Army to enrich the strength of the Yuan Dynasty's naval division. Unable to gain a foothold, Zhang Shijie and other Song Dynasty Wenwu had to go all the way south to Guangdong, and yashan was defeated by the Yuan Dynasty's water division in the Battle of Yashan, and 100,000 soldiers and civilians were martyred.

In recognition of Pu Shougeng's great contribution, Kublai Khan made him a general of Zhaoyong and continued to stay in Quanzhou to do his maritime trade. But I didn't expect that the Yuan Dynasty existed for less than a hundred years, and it actually reached the historical inflection point of the rise and fall of the dynasty. At that time, Pu Shou Geng had long been dead, and the Pu clan people saw that the Yuan Dynasty was in turmoil and began to speculate against the Yuan Dynasty.

However, the remnants of the Yuan army suppressed the Rebellion of the Pu family. After Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty, he deeply resented this capricious traitor, ordered the exhumation of Pu Shou Geng's corpse, and stipulated that "the remnants of the Pu clan are imprisoned with Rong Wu, and there is no dengshi in the world", and the Pu surname of Quanzhou was classified as a lowly nationality to punish them for the crime of pouring out the Song Dynasty.

In order to escape the punishment of the Ming Dynasty, Pu Shougeng's descendants changed their surnames to "Yang, Wu, Bu" and other surnames, and after his death, the tombstone was also written "the tomb of Yang xxx or Wu xxx", and only on the back of the tombstone was written "the tomb of Pu xxx" in small characters. Even the Quanzhou Pu surname, which did not change its surname, did not recognize it as a descendant of Pu Shou Geng.
