Renault will further accelerate the electrification transition

On January 13, Renault CEO De Meo said at a media briefing in Paris: "By 2030, 100% of the Renault brand's sales in Europe will be electric. Last July, De Meo set this target at 90 percent, with the remaining 10 percent made up of other types of vehicles.

At the same time, De Meo said that after 2030, if there is insufficient charging infrastructure or excessive electricity prices, Renault Group may still sell some internal combustion engine models through the Dacia brand, which is officially Renault Group's "Plan B". This also means that Dacia will be fully electrified by 2035 at the latest, because the EU's requirement is to stop selling new internal combustion engine cars in 2035.
