If any nation can establish its own country, it must be the greatest event of this nation, and it is also the eternal pride of its descendants, which is vividly verified by the Jews.
The kingdom of Israel, established by the Jewish people, is the object of remembrance and gratitude of the Jews to this day. Fortunately, Jerusalem survived because of its strong walls, but this also meant that the Jews never had a stable life ever since. In the years that followed, Jews faced humiliation from powerful foreign armies, and although the Jews had given up their dignity to become vassals of the Assyrian Empire in order to pray for peace, the desire for foreign subjugation was never extinguished by a short period of submission.
Although the Assyrian Empire was on the path of destruction before Israel could perish, peace did not come. The country that replaced Assyria in completing this historical figure was Babylon, a much stronger state, more fierce in battle, and more brutal in their means. In 586 B.C., Jerusalem was breached, and the whole of Jews was shrouded in the shadow of the destruction of the country and the family, and even the Jewish king became a prisoner. But the strong Jews did not perish because of this, they waited for the hope of rebirth. After the rise of the mighty Persia, the Jews were freed, and they could finally return to their homeland and rebuild their homeland.
It was precisely because of the tolerance of the Persians that the Jews strengthened their faith in God, and they became the most devout believers in God. In a desperate situation, they can only choose an armed uprising. Although the rebellious Jews achieved a stage victory, they were defeated in front of Rome's powerful army. This time Jerusalem was once again a hell on earth, almost in ruins. Once again, the Jews were on the path of displacement, and to this day most of them have not been able to return to their homeland.
In the 7th century, Jerusalem, a thousand-year-old holy city, became part of the Arab Empire, and since then a large number of Arabs have moved in and gradually assimilated with the local indigenous population, and then the modern Palestinian Arabs have been formed.
It is also worth mentioning that in 1947 Jerusalem was designated by the United Nations as an international city, the so-called international condominium city, and the outbreak of several middle Eastern wars that followed directly prompted Israel to unilaterally declare Jerusalem as its capital in 1980.
