However, in the fourth year of Yongzheng, he suddenly cut off his prince, imprisoned him, and changed his name to "Akina", and Yin Yu died that year, only 45 years old.

However, in the forty-third year of Qianlong, Hongli rehabilitated Yin Yu. In the light of Yin Yu's non-disobedience, he ordered the restoration of the name Yin Yu, the restoration of the clan room, and the entry of the jade.
Under normal circumstances, such a thing will not happen, which is a big negation of the predecessor, after all, the old eight and other people compete with Yin Chan for the throne is obvious to all.
So why did Qianlong want to rehabilitate Uncle Eight, and didn't he just punch Yongzheng in the face?
Qianlong pointed out in his forty-three years of encyclicals:
"The eighth son of the Emperor, Yun Yu, and the ninth son, Yun Yu, had sinister intentions, formed a party and acted in a vain manner, and committed their own crimes. Emperor Kao Shang could not bear to punish him severely, and only ordered him to cut off the spectrum and change his name to show shame. As far as the two minds are concerned, their hidden conspiracy to covet snooping is inevitable. And the Emperor Kao Shao Deng Dabao, Yi and other grievances are particularly slanderous, and they also belong to the love affair. Guy and Guy did not have a hidden rebellious heart, and there was no obvious sign of disobedience, but although the emperor had clearly violated his guilt, he was as full of condescension. ——" Records of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty
In fact, it is very clear that the old eighth and the ninth are guilty of being suspicious. If such people will also be rehabilitated, then Qianlong is tantamount to encouraging those with ulterior motives.
But at the same time, he also believed that Lao Ba and the others did not cause a great impact, after all, the Yongzheng Emperor found out in time, and Qianlong also patted Yongzheng's ass.
There are two main reasons why Qianlong rehabilitated Uncle Eight.
First of all, in order to buy people's hearts, Qianlong still has advantages in doing so, so that he can give the Manchu Dynasty minister of culture and military affairs and the people of the world a sense of benevolence, if you blindly cling to history, it gives people the feeling of being too careful, and the way of handling things is not atmospheric, this is a very good opportunity.
Secondly, he also wanted to show that Yongzheng also remembered brotherly love and showed that he had a heart of benevolence. Not only did he fulfill his father's last wish, but he also showed a benevolent heart in front of the world, which can be described as killing two birds with one stone.
But it's not that simple. In the forty-third year of Qianlong, not only for Yin Yu, but also for Dolgun, Azig and others in the early Qing Dynasty. It can be said that these things are not independent, at that time, it coincided with the revision of the history of the National History Museum, and Qianlong also just wanted to summarize some of the historical problems of the previous royal family, among which there was any question of how to position these convicted princes and others.
However, Dorgon reinstated the title of Prince of Rui, posthumously honored Yue Zhong, and was worthy of the Taimiao Temple. However, Yin Yu did not just restore his original name and clan office, and his title of Prince of Heshuo Lian was not restored, and the gap was very large.
It can be seen that in Qianlong's eyes, there was no complete rehabilitation of Lao Ba, but only some objective evaluations of the problems at that time, and appropriately restored the identity of those competitors of Yin Chan at the beginning. This can only be said to be a limited level.
