Unfortunately, this marriage lasted only 5 years, in December 1932, the fourth anti-encirclement and suppression failed, Zeng Zhongsheng made a well-founded criticism of Zhang Guotao's wrong line at a conference, which made Zhang Guotao resentful, and in August 1935, Zhang Guotao finally found an opportunity to assassinate Zeng Zhongsheng in Lifan County, Sichuan.
When Zeng Zhongsheng was sacrificed, Huang Jie was in prison, and after she was released from prison, she cried bitterly when she heard the news of her husband's sacrifice, but for the sake of the revolution, she could only wipe away her tears and continue to work hard for the revolutionary cause.
When Zeng Zhongsheng was sacrificed, Huang Jie was only 26 years old and walked alone for a lifetime, which was unrealistic, and later, Huang Jie fell in love with a comrade named Zheng De and got married, however, this marriage also did not last long, in 1940, Zheng De was killed by the warlord Sheng Shicai with Chen Tanqiu, Mao Zemin and other comrades in Xinjiang, and Huang Jie's second husband was also sacrificed.
In his early thirties, the two husbands were martyred one after another, and the grief in Huang Jie's heart could be imagined, and it was at this time that Huang Jie and Xu Xiangqian met.
Like Huang Jie, Xu Xiangqian also has a sad past in his heart, that is, the death of his wife Cheng Xunxuan.
Cheng Xunxuan, a native of Huang'an, Hubei Province, in 1929, under the introduction of comrades, Chen Xunxuan and Xu Xiangqian met and fell in love, and in this year, 18-year-old Cheng Xunxuan and 28-year-old Xu Xiangqian married.
Although the difference of 10 years, but the two after marriage but get along very well, Xu Xiangqian and Cheng Xunxuan have a very good relationship, unfortunately, Cheng Xunxuan died because of Xu Xiangqian.
In 1932, the "purge" expanded, the then military commander Xu Xiangqian was also affected, in order to find a "breakthrough", Cheng Xunxuan was arrested and tortured, they thought that Chen Xunxuan was young, under torture must have opened his mouth, but what they did not expect was that Cheng Xunxuan was always reluctant to say a bad word about her husband Xu Xiangqian, and in the end, Cheng Xunxuan was shot, only 21 years old.
