Zhou Chunquan, whose name is unknown, and during the Red Army period, he served as the head of the security bureau and committed unforgivable crimes, many senior Red Army generals were killed by him, and even Xu Qianqian's second wife, Cheng Xunxuan, was tortured by him and finally killed for no reason.
According to the "Biography of Xu Qianqian", in 1937, Xu Qianqian went through hardships to avoid the butcher's knife of ma jiajun and returned to Yan'an by asking for food. Just arrived in Yan'an, he got another bad news, 5 years ago, after his wife Cheng Xunxuan was arrested, the Security Bureau used all kinds of torture to torture and torture Cheng Xunxuan, forcing her to admit to counter-revolution and "expose her accomplices." Cheng Xunxuan never gave in and was eventually brutally killed. Xu Xiangqian asked Zhou Chunquan, who was then the director of the Eyu-Anhui Security Bureau: "Why did you arrest my wife and kill me?" What is her sin? Zhou Chunquan had to tell the truth at this time: "She is not guilty, and the purpose of arresting her at that time was to get your materials." Xu Xiangqian was unable to speak in sorrow, and he was heartbroken for his beloved wife who had been killed for protecting him.

Such a plot is similar to that of the Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau or the Japanese gendarmerie, so why is there such a thing as torturing a person to confess and brutally killing a person on trumped-up charges in the ranks of the revolution?
Not only that, but there were also many senior Red Army generals who suffered the same fate, such as Xu Jishen, Zeng Zhongsheng, Zhou Weijiong, etc., who were all arrested by Zhou Chunquan and finally brutally killed. Among them, Zeng Zhong, one of the founders of the Eyu-Anhui base area and one of the 36 founding military figures, was killed and killed very tragically, and one night, he was strangled to death by the people of the Security Bureau, thrown into the river, and then deliberately went up the mountain to search for him, released the news to the outside world, and Zeng Zhongsheng escaped. It was jealous of Zeng Zhongsheng's position in the army and did not dare to blatantly kill. According to statistics, the number of cadres at and above the company level of the Red Army who suffered from this misfortune reached more than 2,500, and so many revolutionary cadres were killed by him.
At this point, it has to be said that his crime was great, but why did he not receive any punishment, but instead rose all the way up, and finally became the founding general.
What kind of person is Zhou Chunquan?
Zeng Chunquan was born in 1905 to a peasant family in Leijiatian Village, BaliWan, Hong'an County, Hubei Province. At the age of 16, he went to Hankou as a textile worker and participated in the workers' movement. In 1923, he was elected chairman of the committee by the workers of the factory. In 1926, he joined the Party. In 1927, he participated in the Jute Uprising, was elected a member of the county peasant government, and in 1928 was appointed secretary of the Xinyang County Party Committee. In 1929, he was appointed a member of the Standing Committee of the Eyu-Anhui Border Special Committee, and in 1930 he was appointed a member of the Standing Committee of the Eyu-Anhui Border Special Committee, the director of the Political Protection Bureau of the Eyu-Anhui Provincial Soviet Government, and the chairman of the Provincial Trade Union Committee.
In 1931, Zhang Guotao came to the Eyu-Anhui base area, and he still served as the director of the Security Bureau, resolutely supporting Zhang Guotao and massacring revolutionary cadres. Many massacres were committed during this period, and the cruelty of the means was no less than that of the Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau or the Japanese Gendarmerie.

In October 1932, Zhou Chunquan was transferred to the political commissar of the 10th Division of the Red Fourth Front, and moved west with the main force. From 1933, he served as the political commissar of the Red Fourth Army, and from 1934 he was the deputy director of the Political Department of the Red Fourth Front, the secretary of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the commander-in-chief of the guerrilla army. In 1935, he participated in the Long March and served as deputy director of the General Political Department of the Red Army. In 1936, the Red First and Red Fourth Fronts split, and Zhang Guotao successively appointed him as the director of the Political Department of the Red Fourth Front and the political commissar of the Red Thirty-first Army.
It can be found that after Zhang Guotao's arrival, Zhou Chunquan's position has advanced by leaps and bounds, and his promotion has been particularly fast. In just a few years, he went from division political commissar to military political commissar to leader of the front army, and even became deputy director of the General Political Department of the Red Army. Zhang Guotao was the general political commissar of the Red Army at that time, and he had great power in his hands, and the appointment and dismissal of personnel were all matters of his words.
However, since the Arrival of the Red Army in northern Shaanxi, he has not held any military positions, and all his positions are rear positions.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as the director of the Steering Committee for the Life of Northern Shaanxi Public School, the director of the Political Department, and the director of the Political Department of the branch school. In 1943, he was appointed as the supervisor, deputy director and secretary general of the Industrial and Commercial Administration of the Coastal Administration.
During the Liberation War, he went to the northeast to serve as the general manager of Benxi Media And Railway Company, and later transferred to the director of the Liaoning Southern Bureau and deputy secretary of the provincial party committee. In 1947, he became deputy director of the Higashino Logistics Department and second minister. In 1949, he was appointed first director of the Shino Logistics Department and former commander of the Central and Southern Regions.
After the founding of New China, Zhou Chunquan served as the logistics director of the central and southern regions and siye, and in the Korean battlefield in 1950, he served as the director of the logistics department of the Northeast Military Region and the commander of the volunteer army's former command. In 1951, he became the political commissar of the Logistics Department of the Volunteer Army.
In 1955, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of the Armed Forces and was awarded the rank of General. He died in Beijing in 1985.

Throughout Zhou Chunquan's life, he made big mistakes in the first half of his life, and in the second half of his life, he contributed to the country, and he had also made contributions. In that special era, there were also some people who made mistakes, such as Li Lisan, Wang Ming, Bogu, etc., and all of them were reused after correcting their mistakes. But from today's point of view, the mistakes they made are indeed more serious in nature.
In a sense, Zhou Chunquan was lucky, so many excellent revolutionary cadres, cadres' families, and senior generals were killed at his hands, he still did not have to take responsibility, and he was also rated as the founding general, which was really very lucky. From this point of view, it even feels a little unfair to those martyrs who have been wrongfully killed.
But history is fair, merit is merit, and passing is passing, which will be commented on by posterity.
