In February 1925, Hu Zongnan completed his probationary training, formally joined the army, and served as a lieutenant platoon commander of a machine gun company; until 1930, Hu Zongnan served as the commander of the First Division of the Nationalist Army after large and small wars.

Huang Baitao's son was once sentenced to death for murder, and some people say that it was his wife who took out Huang Baitao's Qingtian White Sun Medal to save her son's life. But Ye Xiazhai said this to her child:
You must not make such a mistake, if you do, you will die yourself, and I will not take out your father's Blue Sky and White Sun Medal in exchange for your life."

The second woman to be taken to Taiwan by Chiang Kai-shek was Zhang Lingfu's wife, Wang Yuling.
When Wang Yuling was taken to Taiwan, he was not reunited with his family in Taiwan like Ye Xiazhai, because her husband Zhang Lingfu had been killed in the Menglianggu War.
Zhang Lingfu's family situation when he was young was quite good, Zhang Lingfu was initially admitted to Peking University by his own efforts, and had a very high talent in history and literature, and Zhang Lingfu also liked calligraphy, once been designated by famous artists, and was appreciated and praised by everyone in calligraphy.
When Zhang Lingfu was in school, the society at that time was also the era of reform, and various revolutionary movements were also vigorously launched in the school, but the strength of the students was too limited, so Zhang Lingfu was determined to break out of the army, and he wanted to have power. So before Peking University graduated, Zhang Lingfu went to the Whampoa Military Academy and became the fourth cadet of the Whampoa Military Academy.
Finally in the Kuomintang, he also rose from an obscure probationary officer to the commander of the 74th Division.
Wang Yuling was not Zhang Lingfu's first wife, she was exactly 25 years younger than Zhang Lingfu. But this does not affect the feelings of the two of them, on the contrary, the feelings of the two of them after marriage are very loving.
Less than two years after the two people got married, Wang Yuling gave birth to a son to Zhang Lingfu, but before the son was full moon, Zhang Lingfu died in battle

So Wang Yuling in 1925, flew to the United States to seek survival, she studied in the accounting department of New York University, usually work-study to find other jobs, to take classes during the day, to prepare for the next day's homework at night, and to find a job at other times.
Recalling that difficult time, Wang Yuling once said:
"My biggest wish at the time was to be able to sleep for a full month, and I couldn't imagine how it came to be."
In 1958, Wang Yuling graduated from New York University, when she was 30 years old, and after graduation, she entered a five-star hotel to work, and the treatment was not bad. Later, she found several more jobs, and finally stayed with American Airlines, and after stabilizing in the United States, she took her mother and son to the United States, and the family was finally reunited in the United States.
In 1973, Premier Zhou learned of Wang Yuling from other overseas Chinese and immediately arranged for someone to send her an invitation
Hope she returns to her country. At first, she was very excited when she received the news, but the thought of her husband was once a Kuomintang officer, she was full of doubts. Later, under the repeated invitations of Premier Zhou, she finally dispelled all the doubts in her heart and embarked on the road back to China.
The day after returning to the motherland, Wang Yuling received a cordial reception from Premier Zhou in Beijing. Premier Zhou also welcomed her back into the embrace of the motherland, and later Wang Yuling made a special trip to Yan'an in 1974 to visit, she said so."

The third woman to be taken to Taiwan at Chiang Kai-shek's behest was Cai Ruoshu, the wife of the famous Kuomintang general Huang Wei.
Huang Wei was also a very unique one among the senior Generals of the Kuomintang, and at first he was a nerd, not a combatant.
Huang Wei, born in 1904 in a peasant family in Guixi, Jiangxi, later achieved excellent results in school through his own efforts, and then was admitted to the Goose Lake Normal School. After graduating from school, Huang Wei also returned to his hometown to work as a primary school teacher, and he was also trained by the Whampoa Military Academy and finally entered the Kuomintang army.
After Huang Wei entered the Kuomintang army, at first he had no interest in fighting and war, but he still wanted to do military education.
Later, he himself founded a new-style military academy in Wuhan and served as the principal.
As a result, under the general pattern of the war, Huang Wei was still pushed to the front line of the Huaihai battlefield by the Kuomintang, but his mind was always on his own military academy, so he told Chiang Kai-shek about a condition
"After I've fought this battle, I'm going to go back to my military school."
。 Chiang Kai-shek also agreed to his conditions. However, it backfired.
When ordered to go to the front, Huang Wei was spending the summer in Lushan with his wife Cai Ruoshu and her children, and her wife was nine months pregnant. After Huang Wei was later arrested, Cai Ruoshu and their children were also sent to Taiwan. However, at first, Cai Ruoshu got the news that her husband had died in battle, but Cai Ruoshu did not believe it.
In the middle, he also sneaked back, and through inquiring, she knew that Huang Wei was only captured, not killed in battle, which made her very happy.
Since then, Cai Ruo has made up her mind to return to the mainland no matter what, she took her children from Taiwan to Hong Kong, and then from Hong Kong to Shanghai to settle, but Huang Wei's incomparable loyalty to Chiang Kai-shek, never admitting mistakes, and finally led to becoming the last batch of amnesty war criminals, which made Cai Ruoshu wait for more than 20 years.
More than 20 years of waiting has turned Cai Ruoshu into an old man over 60 years old.
When Cai Ruoshu was in Shanghai, because he wrote well, he did a lot of copying and newspaper work, and also entered the Shanghai Library by his own efforts. At first, because she was the wife of a war criminal, the library was hesitant to admit her, but after many discussions, it was finally decided to hire Cai Ruoshu.
Cai Ruoshu's self-reliance and positive attitude to life have also been praised and affirmed by Premier Zhou.
Her eldest son, Huang Minnan, also suffered the same difficulties as her mother, and when Huang Minnan applied for Fudan University, because of her father's identity, the school did not dare to admit her.
Later, after the instructions of Premier Zhou, he successfully entered the school.
In 1956, Cai Ruoshu once took her eldest daughter to visit Huang Wei, and also brought a photo of Huang Wei's younger daughter who had never met, and when they met, Cai Ruoshu and Huang Min repeatedly told Huang Wei to obey and reform well inside and come out as soon as possible to reunite with the family.
However, Huang Wei's foolish loyalty to Chiang Kai-shek kept him from being released.
In December 1959, the first list of amnesty war criminals was announced, but there was no Huang Wei's name in it, which made Cai Ruoshu, who was ready to welcome her husband home, feel deep despair, originally there should be Huang Wei's name in the list, but Huang Wei refused to admit his mistake and had a bad attitude, which led to his failure to be approved.
Later, in the amnesty list again and again, There was no name of Huang Wei, and Cai Ruoshu was also tortured by mental blows again and again, suffering from mental illness, and his life could only be maintained by drugs.
Later, Huang Wei was finally released, but Cai Ruoshu jumped into the moat under the torment of mental illness and committed suicide.
Cai Ruoshu's feelings for her husband are admirable, but her results are really regrettable.
